Posted Feb 8, 2014I have a couple requests, I am not sure if they are already included and I am just to blind to see them or you have not included them yet.
1) Claiming automatically begins once a player of a faction steps into the region
2) Only the players that are in the region receive the reward, and not the entire faction
3) If request 2 is done, then how can we make it so they don't receive the reward constantly but only once the point is captured
4) If request 1 is done, Have it broadcast to the faction that controls the point that a player from the enemy faction has entered that region and is claiming the region.
Thank you very much if you can do any of these or explain to me how I can do them. Also, if you are still looking for testers I am willing to test unstable builds, as my server is still in development and no one will be harmed if anything does get messed up. Thanks for the answer.

Xteams looks intresting, I will definitely look into that at some point. Im starting to code SimpleClans support next week, before that I will have to do item meta data updates to current version since that will change quite few code arounds that I would hate to redo for all future versions.

It does, Gringotts support is completely optional. Money reward are always tested with essentials plugins first, so it should work just fine.

Longer faction names indeed causes problems and fix for that is coming, FCP will start using ItemMeta class which allows to use longer strings.
In the other news (once again), Im working on the update for next feature sets which hopefully includes some older requests such as:
- Option to disable/enable region (land) claiming per each sign (capture point).
- Easier method to setup region for land claiming (no more region-priority hassle)
- Reset sign after X passed capture checks.

Also, for the longest time, pretty much ever since you released the factions v2, every now and then fcp's would break. I never could find a pattern, however I realized today when several of them broke a faction that has more than 13 letters in their faction name kept breaking the fcp's.
I think that's the issue, if the faction name is too long, it breaks the fcp. (as in, when you click the sign, nothing happens) Only way to fix has been to completely remove it from the config and recreate.

Yes, FCP is designed (orginally) for Factions (http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/factions/) plugin, I have just started looking into expanding FCP to support other plugins such as SimpleClan.

Example 1: /fcp xp 400 500
This setups signs with default XP reward amount (config.yml, XP-Amount), can be only captured between 400 - 500.
Example 2: /fcp xp 50 400 500
This setups sign with 50 XP reward, can be only capture between 400 - 500. Time period (400 - 500 example) are in "ticks", depending on plugin you should be able to tell what current time is by typing command /time, if player tries to capture sign before 400 or after 500, they cant.
So its /fcp <benefit> <reward-amount> <start-time> <end-time>. benefit means XP or money (/fcp xp or /fcp money). If you need mrore help with this, let me know!

I was sure I had replied to you already but seems I close browser before comment went through. Thanks for the offer, but I think I will stick with the current setup for now, will look into adding extra things once everything settles down with current and upcoming releases. I have some doubt if 2.3.0 update is good as I hope, most likely that will cause my some pain before I can setup decent testing platforms :P

I implemented a real time based capture limiter, the code is quite simple but if you want I can send you the modified source to integrate it in the plugin (I edited the in-game time feature to make it work, but again the code should be simple to implement).
That's a good feature if your players are sleepwalkers camping all night near the capture points. xD

Im planning to do so, just need to wait for bug reports and get current releases clean as possible, so I dont have to bug fix multiple version all the time. Usually I wait for week or two to collect reports, if nothing major shows up, I can start working on the older MC updates.
