FastCraft

Table of Contents

FastCraft is a Minecraft server plugin that changes the way players craft their items, allowing items to be crafted in a single click. Instead of the usual 3x3 crafting grid, players will be shown all the items that can be crafted from the items in their inventory, and clicking one of the items will automatically remove the required ingredients from the players inventory, and give the newly crafted item.

I'm working on completely rewriting FastCraft from the ground up for Spigot 1.9, and I'm going to release it as FastCraft+. I have school break in a couple weeks, so I'll be able to work on it then, and on my free time if I ever have any. You can look at the BukkitDev project page here:

If you consider Sponge, please at least also continue to be on Bukkit/Spigot/Paper. As for inventory, they're still discussing how that should go afaik.

Also, I'm not moving to Sponge anytime soon for these reasons.

There are a lot of weird bugs popping up due to changes in the inventory. I'm not sure if they're bugs with the 1.9 release of CraftBukkit/Spigot, or if it's because of inventory changes.

I'll look into it, but I'm not sure how long it'll take to get everything fixed up.

Because of all the backwards compatibility, the project's source has been turning into spaghetti code, so I've been thinking about rewriting the plugin for 1.9 when I get a lot of free time. I might look into using Sponge, because the API is more stable, and there are nice ways to implement things that took quirky workarounds to code in Bukkit.

I haven't been able to update FastCraft because I've been overloaded with classwork. I'll try to push an update for 1.9 as soon as I can. Maybe by this weekend, but I can't know for sure.

Yup not working in 1.9 is there any way we could convince you to update this for us? We will love you forever!

My players adore this and honestly I miss it...You got us lazy with crafting now you must sustain us lazy crafters... hee hee <3 ty in advance

spigot/bukkit 1.8.8 , same glitch with 1.8.3 onwards. if you want to join my server and see for yourself you may see it better. server is animetvmc.com , just shout me ur from here and ill load the new version in for you. my op name is kei so if im not online im probably asleep but im online for another hour
