FakeSlots
Description
What is this?
It started as a simple plugin which was able to do only one thing (fake slots), but currently it's much more functional. Strarting with changing the slot number shown in Minecraft server list to the one set by command/in config. Then we get to know that it can override the slot limit from server.properties. Quite useful if you want to temporarily change number of slots (for eg. during the event) or override slot limit set by your hoster (I don't take responsibility for eventual problems). And finally, it can be used to reserve slots for VIPs (by giving them permission listed down there).
Commands
- /fakeslots <[slots]/reset/reload> - fakes the slot limit to given number/resets fake slots number/reloads plugin
- /realslots <[slots]/reset> - overrides the slot limit from server.properties/resets slot limit to the number in server.properties file
- /slotsinfo - displays actual number of real and fake slots

Permissions
- fakeslots.fakeslots - allows use of /fakeslots command
- fakeslots.real - allows use of /realslots command
- fakeslots.info - allows use of /slotsinfo command
- fakeslots.reserve - allows player to join no matter how many players are currently online
- fakeslots.notify - players with this permission will be informed when an update is available

Posted Jun 11, 2015Just want to make you aware, it looks like the /fakeslots permission is wrong. It should be fakeslots.fake not fakeslots.fakeslots
I also get an update notification even though there doesn't seem to be a new update. Otherwise great plugin, nicely done

I love this plugin totally, my host limits me to 20 slots (and makes people pay for more slots) but it can easily handle 40, so its real good. They won't find out but that doesn't matter, they wouldn't want to shut down my server even if they did.
Anyway i wanted to talk about Tab Deco, it doesn't work with this plugin , how i figured it out my prefix is too long with my name and its like 28 characters at all and it kicks me, saying that max is 16. So it still interferes with it, it would be better if you made a tablist for this plugin, if its possible to increase number of characters.

I know that it'd be nice, but unfortunately it would interfere with plugins like TabDeco (and other which modify tablist) which are a 'bit' more popular than mine

Added in v1.3.1 (awaiting approval) but if you've red changelog you would see "Added auto update checker, if an update is available players with permission fakeslots.notify will be advised to update the plugin after joining" :P

To be honest I don't really care, if they are happy because of that I'm fine :P To change license I'd have to release source, but then I'd have to document it, etc. Maybe in the near future... ;)
