What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Ever since the mCore Update it has been downhill. The developer is a complete ** that over complicated a simple factions plugin.
NONE OF THE OLDER VERSIONS FUNCTION ON SPIGOT 1.8.6
I will be looking for alternatives to this plugin. The developer clearly doesn't know what he's doing, he's just typing out useless code.

Before it was /f claim and now /f claim one Before /f power now /f player Where are the /f chat and the /f buy power ? That make no sense guys

Posted May 16, 2015I'm working on setting up factions. I finished everything except only 1 option 'claimnear'. I can't find any information about this option and it doesn't say me anything. Hopefully you can explain me more about the option.
You can find this in the folder Mstore -> factions mperm -> claimnear.json I'm using the latest factions/massivecore version.

Posted May 15, 2015Im currently running Factions 2.5.0 but for some reason any time my self (OP) or a player uses /f join or /f invite they get an error message "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command". Is there anyway to fix this without updating to Factions 2.7.5 as I use FactionsPlus with this.

Posted May 14, 2015I am having an issue with 1.7.10 so people are changing their ign and if they are in a faction, the faction kicks them from the faction for just changing their name because it doesn't recognize them. Is their a way to make it so the faction doesnt kick them?
