What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Posted Apr 17, 2015I have a several bug, when a player use /f home out of faction territory drop An error To consol, And in game give The message: internal error occurred while perform this command. Ideas?

Posted Apr 16, 2015PLEASE HELP!!! I got Factions, but for some reason it has turned off zChat! I use zpermissions and it doesn't show prefixes or suffixes or anything, just the default bukkit one <name>:. This is really bad for my server! Please help! :(

This newest version of Factions doesn't have it's own folder in plugins. All of the faction related configuration is in the following folder:
/mstore/factions_mconf/instance.json
I recommend opening your .json files in "Notepad+'+" as it makes it much, much easier to read.

Posted Apr 7, 2015@zbturtle @DioxysVideos Same and its happened to me before on a previous version for a while 2.7.3 worked on my 1.8 server then i updated it to 1.8.3 and it wont work downgraded it and it still wont work

Posted Apr 7, 2015Hello, i have problem with Factions API. Since Factions dont support WorldGuard regions, im trying to code a plugin to allow player break blocks on my regions but in safezone. How to cancel Factions events ? Everytime i try event.setcanceled(false);, it says on chat "SafeZone does not allow [...]". Add some WorldGuard support or tell me how to code it please ;)

Posted Apr 6, 2015I'm stuck with a problem on my server. I installed MassiveCore and Factions but i only get the massive core and mstore files. The factions folder doesnt appear. In Game, i do /plugins and Factions is in green but there is no cmds like /f create or /f help. Someone could help me?

I have the plugin but if I disable factions in other worlds you see a strange preffix: <{factions_recolor}{factions_roleprefix}{factions_recolor}{factions_name:rp} and you can still see the /f menu You know how to solve this?

I said something in the chat and it said
"<{factions_recolor}{factions_recolor}fatcat3106>meow" ( and I don't want it to say all that every time someone comments in chat )
AND... it just gave me a .jar file, no config.... please help!!
