What is Factions?

With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.

Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.
Configure (Optional)

New In Factions 2.8

Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
Performance - Further work on improved performance.
Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

Looks like deleteing the idnamecache.json worked!

MassiveCore works beautifully and CreativeGates seem to work again!

I have mcore and factions and good same version as my server yeah but when i run them it wont make a factions folder please help!!

You can start your server without Factions. That's what I did. No reason for anything to "mess up" your week. Players can get along just fine without Factions for a while.

Use the 1.7.9 version! Factions works but theres no GODDAMN plugin folder, this messes up my week, can't start my server

Okay, I am having the same problem as everyone else, I can get mcore for 1.7.9 to but I can get mcore to work fore 1.7.10, and I cant get factions to work for 1.7.10 or 1.7.9. in the plugins folder it just remains as factions .jar, and cant get it to load, and this is creating a huge problem, please help!!!

Like others have posted, my mcore and Factions are not showing in the plugins folder, and factions isn't working. Any time I type a Factions command, I just get the Unknown command. Type "/help" for help. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as delete the incomplete mcore folder that was there from when I first installed the plugins. Please help!

For a safezone or warzone, you have to join the faction.

Like:

/f join Safezone or /f join Warzone then clain land for it

I know there is a way to claim a safezone and warzone in a region way. Someone help?

I know there is /f claim <radius>

What if I dont know the raidus?

And how do I do this to claim safezone/warzone
