What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)

- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

At a guess from looking at the indicated code, maybe the faction home's world was removed or had its name changed? Either way, the error is from a faction home location returning null when it seems like it shouldn't. I'll add in a check for that in the next release.
The quick fix would be for the faction in question to set a new faction home location.

So deny the permission to claim land for regular players if you don't want claiming land to be available in any world, or just claim the appropriate area and then add the world to "worldsNoClaiming" (/f config worldsNoClaiming YourWorldName).

No, but you can make radius claims or use the autoclaim command to claim land as you walk around.

How is the other plugin attempting to cancel the teleport? In other words, please explain in more detail what you've tried to do.

Correct, it prevents creepers from exploding inside WarZones.

I don't think I understand your question exactly, but: yes, you can claim an area as a WarZone for use as an arena and to prevent it from being claimed by a faction.

Posted Apr 28, 2012“warZoneBlockCreepers”: false, – block creeper explosions in warzones? Not trying to sound stupid or nothing but does this mean if its false it doesnt blow up or if its false it it does let the stuff blow up?
Because rightnow i have a base in my server that creepers can;t explode in when they can for every other faction This said faction is not a peaceful faction.

I've considered trying to hook through Vault to set permission groups based on faction, but it's a bit tricky. Since faction tags can be changed, we would need some other unique unchanging identifier for each faction. Presumably that would be the faction ID (numerical value), and currently I think you would need to root around in the factions.json file to find out what the ID for any given faction is. So in order to not half-ass it, we would need to provide some method to get the faction IDs. Maybe in the /f show|who info. Then we would of course need to test the integration through Vault with a few permission plugins to ensure it's correctly putting people in the faction permission groups (which would be something like "faction_1" or "faction_27" or similar), and make sure that setting and unsetting such groups works correctly, and all that sort of fun stuff.
Long story short, it's probably doable through Vault and we might eventually do it, but it would/will take substantial work and it's definitely not a priority right now.

Not currently. After 1.7 we might add a method to make specific factions have a forced relation set with every other faction similar to how peaceful factions are forcibly neutral. WarZones or any other faction could then be set as forcibly enemy with every other faction, so that "territoryEnemyDenyCommands" would work there and people would have the other restrictions or abilities which you have set for enemy territory.

Posted Apr 27, 2012I have a suggestion for this plugin, which may or may not be possible. It would be to give individual factions, special permissions. This would be very helpful for me and, I am sure, others.
For example, I use factions on my RPG server. One of our factions is a faction of wizards/mages. I have installed another 'magic' plugin, but only want this faction to have the 'magic' permissions. Obviously, it is possible, but it requires me to give almost 30 people individual permissions.

Posted Apr 26, 2012Hi ! And thank you for your quick answer earlier! I have another problem. When faction is runing, many monsters can't spawn : spiders, endermen and many others. They can't spawn naturally and I can't spawn those monsters with monster's eggs. Do you know this problem?

No, but if faction members go offline knowing that their faction has more land claimed than power, they should be aware of what's likely to happen.
