Weird, it works for me. Something else is messed up, or you're pasting it wrong.

This works for me:
format: '&7[{factions_roleprefix}&r&7{factions_nameforce}&r&7] {DISPLAYNAME}: &f{MESSAGE}'

Make sure to have the 's

can't be saved in essentials chat here: format: '<{DISPLAYNAME}> {MESSAGE}'

Everytime i try to save that format given in that link into those quotation in the essentials chat section it resets the config.

You can say, well sir, all you have to do is go into the store > factions_mconf>instance.json and change chatSetFormat to true.

Well i would argue that statement with if i did do that, yes it would work. however, the neutral color is white. how do i change the neutral color? one would say simple change the color. Well that doesn't work. If you change the color the entire chat system gets jacked up.

My question to you is how do i change the colors of the prefix faction tags?

Should really not double post, and a .json file is easily editable with notepad...

can you tell me how to edit the config then? because its a .json file and I have no idea how to change the worldsNoClaiming option in the config. Please tell me how you did it.

can you tell me how to edit the instance.json file in the mcstore folder of this 1.7.9 build of factions? I see the worldsNoClaiming option but i don't know how to add my worlds into the config without getting errors.

HELP NEEDED ASAP Im running bukkit 1.7.9 build 3079 with mcore 7.2.1 and factions 2.4.0 and whenever i try to do a lot of /f commands like /f show /f config etc it says strange arguments and wont do anything please help idk whats wrong with it

I am running MassiveCore 7.0.2 and Factions 2.3.0.
There is no configuration file or directory related to factions. When anyone tries to make a faction it kicks them.

The folder is called mstore, and its located where your worlds are, so one folder above /plugins folder. This folder generates if you have the Massive core plugin installed.

You need the MCore (massive core) plugin in addition. The config for factions will be inside the mcore folder, I believe.

I just edited my global region to deny cmd /f...works for me!
