What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

When I enable economy in factions it works for the first minutes but after that it doesn't work anymore and you'll need power again to claim. I looked in the config but in the config it said it still was enabled!

Posted Mar 23, 2014Hello everyone, i have a problem, i bought a minecraft server, version 1.7.2 and i tried to install factions plugin and it does not work. i also installed the latest version of factions and mcore and still nothing happening in my panel or in my plugin list.. what should i do, please help! I know about that, but the problem is that im using Skywars and Skywars doesn't use Worlds it uses schematics, I have tryed to out the name of the Schematics but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Factions is completely broken for this new version, Not sure if it is Factions or Mcore that needs an update though.

In the config you will find an option like this.
"worldsIgnorePvP": [arena1,plotworld],
Any worlds listed such as Arena1, Will enable PvP of those in the same faction for that world.
@MrPenguin100 /f Promote is a new command, If your using an older version that is why it doesn't work. Factions does not create a Folder in the Plugins Folder anymore, Instead it creates it in the Mcore Folder found in the main directory of your FTP server.

The Factions 1.7 update drastically changed the way Factions looks and feels, including commands and chat messages. The version before this update, version 1.6.9.1, still uses /f who and /f show and the such. Just download that one :)
