You do NOT need MCore if you are running 1.5.2 or below.

why this is bad 1. it is using MCore 2. together with mcore it is using 500 mb ram!

Just came back to say I was able to figure it out. I just changed the some from ParseTags from 'LOW' to 'HIGH'

As for those wanting to know how to claim for Safe Zone, do this.
./f admin
./f autoclaim SafeZone

Or you can do.
./f admin
./f claim (radius) SafeZone

If using autoclaim, to disable just type in the command exactly as you typed in before hand.

I would do ./f map on, to see where I am claiming as well.

As much as I like the new features, I also like the simplicity of the older Factions plugin, so I compiled Factions 1.6.9.5 against the latest CraftBukkit and external libs (protocollib, essentials, essentialschat, lwc, worldedit, worldguard etc). Works great on CraftBukkit 1.6.2, but further testing is necessary at this point in time.

Check in your mstore/factions_mconf/instance.json

Make sure that:

"chatSetFormat": false,

If it still doesn't work check in your permissions folder.

Make sure there is no prefix ex GroupManager:

prefix: ''

And the last one, check in your essentials configuration

Maybe you type " format: '{factions_roleprefix}{factions_name}[{GROUP}]<Owner>{DISPLAYNAME}: {MESSAGE}''

There is a new plugin called FactionChat. Try that if you want /f chat back. But the commands are changed into /fchat http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/factionchat/

You have the world "world","games"

If you have only 1 world to be prevented do:

"worldsNoClaiming": [world],

But if you have more than 1 world do:

"worldsNoClaiming": [world, games],

It is also for:

"worldsNoPowerLoss": [world, games],

"worldsIgnorePvP": [world, games],

I tried a lot of times for this. Hope this helps :D

Join the faction "SafeZone" or "WarZone" and claim the land that you want. If you don't want to be in "SafeZone" or "WarZone", leave the faction. The land will still be claimed by "SafeZone" or "WarZone".

This may be a silly question though I will ask it anyway. How do you seperate the worlds in the Faction config file? "worldsNoClaiming": [], "worldsNoPowerLoss": [], "worldsIgnorePvP": [],

Do you use , (spaces) or other.

I know of the auto disband feature and i wanted to know if you could add an option that faction owners set to automatically kick members of the faction if they do not log on to the server for a defined amount of days. Thanks, amboyscout

Okay, I just got it working, and now how do I claim the safezone? It tells me when I do the command, /f claim safe or /f claim safezone, it tells me, 'invalid interger "safe" invalid interger "safezone"

I need help. I have factions and mcore and essentials installed but factions dont show up in chat. I have essentials.chat and im not sure why its not working. It says [Owner]<Owner> Tuko why does it have two "Owners" Can someone please help me?

By default newly created factions have the perms set so that only members and up in the factions can use containers. When creating a new faction do /f perm and double check the default perms.

Okay, So I need help!

I own a faction PvP server and have the factions plugin. By default, the setting is that people cannot open (raid) chests in other factions land! This is essential for my server and I really need to know how to make it so that chests can be opened in enemy territory by an opposing faction!

I have posted on forums everywhere, and I cannot get an answer!

(I will provide any additional details if you need them) I am using The latest versions of Mcore and Factions (v2.0.4) So the permission " Territory Protected Materials" is not in the config file!

When a faction has money in its bank and you do /money top it shows the faction but the name is the factions hash name, not the display name. Is this an iconomy issue?

Alright, i'm using herochat and the faction titles are not changing color. Enemy, Ally, And Neutral factions are all colored GREEN. Please Fix This or tell me what im doing wrong!
