awesome. I have a question...were is the faction claims stored in? I still have all the facs, I just lost the claims...and the f home is not working even tho I checked the faction.json, the coordinates are still there for each faction...

edit: nvm I found it. I got everything restored back., and back to 1.8.2 for now.. wow that was scary.

oh no...the fac claims and homes got deleted...screwed -_-

I reverted back to 1.8.2 the new update is buggy. everyone losing their facs and the wierd [tag] lines prefixes is showing on their names. For people that wants to revert back, just downgrade then rename the .MIGRATED files back to .json. and delete mcore and factionplus because it doesnt work with the older version faction. I'll wait till they fix it..

@jj298 Use a permissions plugin like permissionsbukkit (Better for per-world permissions) or permissionsex. Be forewarned, once you get a permissions plugin, you have to set all the permissions that you want players to be able to use for all the plugins you have. Bukkitdev plugin pages almost always have permissions or a link to a page with permissions. sometimes it takes a bit of searching.

Can anyone tell me how to restore my factions? All of them got deleted in the upgrade, but I backed them up. How do I restore them?

And building on the below post: It's curly brackets in the /[server directory]/mstore/factions_mconf/instance file, square brackets in the /[server]/plugins/essentials/config.yml file. It doesn't seem to fix the issue with the "your faction" (default light green) color not showing in your tag, but it does make faction tags show, so it works well.

After a bit of extensive testing, I like how Factions 2.0 works. It is definitely better then before although it did lose some features.
The biggest problem at this point is that Factions 2.0 is not able to replace the tags in EssentialsChat.
Changing the the setting chatParseTagsAt to HIGH does not solve the issue either.
Anyone find a way around this?

Edit: I believe the issue is to do with Factions replacing the curly brackets with square backets possibly.
Edit: I believe this actually is related to EssentialsChat replacing curly brackets with square brackets. That is how it looks like right now.
A solution to this could be changing Factions to detect square brackets instead of curly brackets.

I appreciate your concern. I am knowledgeable in this field is was just a simple question that needed a simple answer. I obviously have over-looked this multiple times as stated previously (which you obviously have not bothered reading). I am looking for a specific location of this permission as stated now three times. Again I appreciate your concern.

It's a permission. If you don't understand what that is then you should learn more about running a server.

The upgrade to 2.0 erased all the factions. I made sure to back up the files first; how do i bring them back?

How can I use this factions.kit.fullplayer? Thanks

Issues fix. Config looks like this { "baseCommandAliases": [ "f" ], "dburi": "default" } Also power is regen way too slow.

I understand you code this plugin for fun and i totally respected all the old updates and i still have hope for it but before you make this plugin sound bad or migrate the users who are using it, you should consider it before it becomes junk. I still hope you bring back the chat feature it was great.

It in the plugin folder, but for both factions and factionsplus I doesn't work. I tried other plugins they work.
