What is Factions?
With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.
Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
- Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
- Configure (Optional)
New In Factions 2.8
- Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
- Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
- WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
- Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
- Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
- 1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
- Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
- Performance - Further work on improved performance.
- Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

I was wondering if someone could help me...
With the new update, there is kind of a new layout in the config for some sections.
The section i would like help with is the Protection section... WHAT IS THE PLAYER "TYPE" THAT INCULDES EVERYONE!
I basically want players to be able to access chests in any other faction territory... Is this possible?

Example: I have no faction given in this channel |(default) Mortiloche: And when I give this faction: |[* test] (default) Mortiloche: hi
this possibility does not work we are forced to have this: | (default) Mortiloche: Hi
and when one faction as this gives: |[* test](default) Mortiloche: test
The problem is the space between the name of the faction and the group name (prefix). If I do not require a space that does not work and glue the two names together ...
I tried two versions of factions are doing nothing. even with:
/f config chatTagPadAfter true
it gives nothing more ...
Help me :(
ps : i'm use Chatmanager and pex.

Posted Jun 10, 2013ok here is something els i can do with out the safezone atm but some reson we can not see the facrions names next to players? how come ? i bin of hosting for year now so am outofdate and seem to have lost the page to help me with this could enyone help me?

that connand dont work i get Strange argument "SafeZone". use the command like this /f unclaimall,declaimall ? i dont wonna remove evry ones i just wonna remove the big spot with safezone.. in one go lol

Set their f perm right. /f perm safezone build neu yes
Replace neu with whatever relation you want. Note that you must be in f admin mode to do this.

This just allowed players to build in faction land, not in safezone. Back to my original question, if anyone can help: How can I allow people to build in safezones with this new version?

Posted Jun 9, 2013For all those to whom prefix don't work and use faction and groupmanager , they do not work together the beta version of faction and the last groupmanager are incompatible it would seem since i do not have any solution to make them both work together AND when i take factions of , it works wonders :)
