I agree This plugin does suck now, please replace with old version. with the new version, no one has the perms to even create a faction, only ops can. which means if someone wants a faction we have to create one for them. You have to restore the earlier version.

Ive updated to the new 1.8 I fixed the chat and all, but I want my players to access enemy chests anywhere but not be able to build or do anything else there, How do I select all factions and change all users to be able to access those chests in all factions using /f perm or another command I might be missing.

This plugins sucks now,because of new plugin version,please put back old versions.

I seem to be having some problems. The faction tags will not show up in chat and my players don't seem to be able to make factions i have updated to 1.8.2 and i have looked on the internet for the solution but i find nothing and some of the commands for factions it tells me "strange argument".

I have a Problem:

I have a PVP Server and i have there Survivalgames on it. If somebody plays survivalgames and is in a Faction with somebody he can't attack him! Do please a option in the config where you can disable factions in the choosen worlds.. Thank you !

Good to hear that it is working now! :D They did get rid of the “warZonePowerLoss” flag, but they added the "POWERLOSS" flag. By default, "POWERLOSS" is set to true in 'conf.json' under "factionFlagDefaults." This means that losing power inside WarZone, or at any area, is enabled.

If you want this to be disabled on WarZone, you can add the flag "POWERLOSS": false under "flagOverrides" in 'factions.json.' Just make sure that you're adding it to the one with the "WarZone" tag.

Oh, that's not good. Can you please show us where you placed the two tags? I posted mine, and it looks like this:

  group-formats:
    Wanderer: '{faction_roleprefix}{faction_tag} &b[{GROUP}]&r {DISPLAYNAME}&7:&b {MESSAGE}

Oh, I misunderstood your question. I'm sorry! But yeah, you can make anyone have access to any chest by adding them to "CONTAINER" under "factionPermDefaults":

      "NEUTRAL",
      "ENEMY"
    ],

Yes, the built-in chat for Factions is not present with the latest build. You have to use a plugin that can handle faction chat or just chat itself.

It is still working. You can add the Faction Tag and the Prefix (Rank) onto the chat by adding {faction_roleprefix} and {faction_tag} in the Essentials Chat group-formats:

  group-formats:
    PLAYER_GROUP: '{faction_roleprefix}{faction_tag} &b[{GROUP}]&r {DISPLAYNAME}&7:&b {MESSAGE}'

Let us know if it still doesn't work for you.

This Has Probably Been Posted Before But Since The Update Typeing {factions} In the Essentials Chat Config Dosent Work Any More Whats The New Thing? Please Help! Btw If You dont already know im trying to get the faction tag and rank of the faction to show up in the chat

Faction chat no longer works. Is this disabled? Did the command change?
