FYI, nobody has time to be looking at their console 24/7. I have a life you know, I let my server run because I trust it not to have any errors. But if there are, it's not my fault. The server is 24/7, it restarts automatically every 3 hours.

Hi, I have a question. If i use command "/f config territoryProtectedMaterialsWhenOffline" why it doesnt work with preassure plate?

Try doing [FACTIONS] instead of [factions] :)

I used to have this problem! All you have to do is go into the Essentials config.yml - then scroll down to the Essentials Chat area. Once you get there, you will see something like this:

format: '<{DISPLAYNAME}> &f{MESSAGE}'

1. format: '&7[{GROUP}]&r {DISPLAYNAME}&7:&r {MESSAGE}'

To fix your problem, use this format:

format: '[FACTIONS] {DISPLAYNAME}&f: {MESSAGE}'

You can edit this a little to your personal likings, but those are mine. If you do not want the Factions to be shown at all, just message me and I can further help you.

I have a problem, in the chat appears some letters and i dont know how make them dissapear.

example:

fCreeperLand r<fichita> the name of the faction is CreeperLand, but what about the F and R ???

note: im running CB1.4.7

Factions runs okay with bukkit 1.5. All essential features are there. The problem is with the entity listener. There will be error spam, but my server is handling it just fine.

Not saying everyone should do this, just saying it's okay for me. Constant entity errors, but nothing server killing.

Most plugins are running just fine for me.

I think you probably know but 1.5 is released (dev.) It would be awesome if you could make a beta version.

Omg! My whole server is now all griefed because of factions failing to start on server start-up. It was working 100% fine until now, and I didn't change or update ANYTHING. This is so frustrating because months of hard work on the server is now RUINED because of this plugin! I can't believe I relied on this for protection. Regrets.

Brettflan, I usually don't ask but I was wondering the build that's been on Github since Jan 29 with the new ranking/recruit system. Is there a chance you are going to release it?

I had compiled it myself a while ago but had a strange/foreign "A" in the chat when i tried it.
All the other features worked fine though, something I forgot to do when I compiled it?

Can anyone tell me how to get the factions v1.8 tag to show in Herochat, I can't seem to figure it out.

i've tried {factions} [factions] and [{factions}] and a few others, nothing seems to work.

Anyone know what to do if u own a Feed the Beast server and wanna get factions for it because i can install it and put it in the plugin folder but when i try to commands it just ignores that i did the command.
