What is Factions?

With this plugin players group up in Factions. You claim land as your own and build your base. Factions is a self serve anti griefing system. Leaders control who can can edit their faction land.

Factions is also about diplomacy and war. You declare wars and forge alliances. You fight over land and manage your monetary expenses.

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder. Download MassiveCore here on BukkitDev.
Put Factions.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.
Configure (Optional)

New In Factions 2.8

Reworked Commands - /f rank, /f invite, /f flag and /f perm.
Added Commands - /f setpower, /f status, /f unstuck and /f tt.
WorldGuard - Readded a simple integration.
Tab Completion - Tab completion now available for everything!
Interactive Text - Clickable buttons for list and help commands.
1.8 Titles - Optionally used for territory info.
Animals Flag - New flag similar to the Monsters flag.
Performance - Further work on improved performance.
Bug Fixes - Loads of minor bugs were fixed.

For some reason its installed but whenver i type a command it comes up as nothing it dus not even say [unkown command type,help. for help] it just gimmes me notin plz help

Hi there and thanks again for the awesome plugin. It has been the core of my server for over a year now ! Just trying to get 1.3.2 in to get rid of the lag issue with 1.3.1. So I just tried ot put in 1.6.9.1 of factions and it worked !! I have a major problem though.

When at F home and I type /spawn to go to spawn. Teleported there with no problems but am stuck in a weird way. Hunger BAR is to 0 and you can't move kind of glitched in nothing but above ground. And am getting spammed with safezone/faction land/Owner land messages liek my character is in limbo between F home and spawn. Have never encountered this before with factions just wondering if it is a known issue. Any info on this would be great.

My factions work fine and such, I read the log and updates, I'm not one of the 'idiots' you mentioned. But I'm having the chat problem (Yes I read the F.A.Q) I tried all of the values from 0 to 10, none worked. I'm currently using factions 1.6.9.1 with 1.3.2-R0.1 build.

To fix the problem with factions, don't download the latest build! DO THIS:
1. Go to Files.
2. Download the 3rd in the list named 1.6.9
3. Install it to your server
4. Now factions work!

How many more idiots will post that it's not working because they didn't pay attention to the supported CraftBukkit version shown in the file listing?

Factions ain't working. I upload the new one and I cant do /f. It creates a file in my control panel but nothing is in that file!!!!!!!

That doesn't work for me, I tried all values, 0-10 none works. My chat has no color and no format what so ever :( ANY TIPS?
