ezColour
This is quite a simple plugin, much like a few others out there, but this one is different!
What it does
- Changes the colour of the nametag above your character!
- Keeps your skin! (Which makes this plugin different from the others
- Uses permissions for an easy nametag colour solution!
- Updates upon relog!
How to use it
This plugin is very simple to use. Install it like every other plugin, by downloading the Jar and putting it in your plugins folder, and restart your server. Now to give a player a coloured nametag, simply give them the permission ezcolour.force.<colour> and replace <colour> with the colour you want to give them.
Available Colours
- white (Default)
- blue
- green
- darkaqua
- darkred
- purple
- gold
- gray
- darkgray
- lightblue
- black
- aqua
- red
- pink
- yellow Once you have given a player the permission, if you relog you should see their coloured nametag!
Important other info (Dependencies)
This plugin heavily depends on TagAPI, without it this plugin will work. We use this plugin so that you keep your skin, it is a really good API and lots of other plugins use it so it would be handy to install!
Configuration
There is currently no configuration available for this plugin, but I'm sure if I get suggestions I will add it when it's needed/required!
Permissions
This plugin depends heavily on permission, and we suggest you use a plugin similar to PermissionsEx (Because it's awesome!) But any one should be fine. If you wish to give a person a coloured nametag, give them the permission corrosponding to the colour, i.e ezcolour.force.red will give the user a red nametag, simply get them to relog and their nametag will be updated :) The format of the permission node is: ezcolour.force.<colour> replace <colour> with one of the colours from the Available Colours catagory above!
Installation
This plugin requires no special installation. Just download the jar and drop it in your /plugins/ folder and restart the server. The only thing you need to do is give the player the permission!
Possible Uses
Possible uses for this plugin include, giving a nametag to a specific team fo players, staff, or even donators :) Personally on my server I give a nametag colour corrosponding to their prefix so they can easily tell who's staff and their rank without needing to chat.
