EStopBlock

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

EStopBlock is a lightweight, easy-to-use plugin that prevent non-OPs building completely. This plugin is a work in progress and more features will be added frequently.

Features!

Prevents building for players who are not OP
OPs are not affected in the slightest
Permissions Support
Does not tax your server with RAM or processor usage.

Permissions

sb.place (Allows placing of blocks)
sb.break (Allows breaking of blocks)
sb.build (Allows altogether building)

These permissions are optional for non-OP players being able to build.

Block Breaking

Coming Soon!

Be lit on fire for a few seconds when you try to build (Will be configurable)
Commands to enable/disable the plugin
Configurable Messages to the player

Currently discovered bugs

In this current build, no bugs have been discovered.

If you want more features to be added feel free to comment.

Note: This is my first public plugin, so try not to be too cynical. More features will be added as I get more advanced in Java.

What I have tested and got to work.

- sb.chat - works we can talk now.

- sb.place - still have to be op

- sb.break - still have to be op

- sb.build - still have to be op

Sure thing, I will work on permissions to be able to chat and do commands. I believe if you can't chat you can't do commands. *Don't quote me on that*

I haven't tested them with many, try disabling a few plugins at a time and see if it starts working. I will check through the code again.

Well this is just the starting version. I am planning on implementing a system where you can punish users. Like make them nauseous if they try to build, or you could make them be blind, etc. There will also be many more features to come.

Basically, only ops can build? Why can't people use whitelist or permissions instead? I can't wait to see how this works though. It'd be great for Tekkit servers...
