I know it sucks to have to pay to use something you used to have, but I simply couldn't continue pouring the time into this project to keep it updated without getting a little something back. EpicGlass adds a new function to both glass blocks (or any other block type in the config!); the ability to be broken! With EpicGlass, you can charge up your bow and send an arrow smashing through windows or take someone by surprise by crashing through their skylight. But don't worry, all that broken glass will slowly regenerate, so you can shatter it over and over again.
This plugin collects basic usage information for mcstats.org. You may opt out in the generated pluginMetrics config file.
Features
- Players and Mobs can fall through glass
- Players can sprint and jump through glass
- Arrows can be shot through glass
- All glass blocks that were touching will be broken
- Glass broken by EpicGlass regenerates over time
- Config for disabling any unwanted features and adding a block cap to the number that can be broken at once
- All of these things for any other block type

Usage
In order to use EpicGlass, simply sprint and jump, fall onto, or shoot an arrow at a glass block.

It might be fixed once I get the next version of Shield released. It's hard to say, since it's not a bug I can duplicate.
No ETA on that tho, I'm pretty swamped with preparations for my final exams.

I don't think that was the issue tho, since he removed the other plugin and it was still having issues. I'll probably change Shield's name internally to ShieldAPI and that will begin to solve it, but probably not entirely.

There's another person with that problem, but I can't replicate it myself. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it, but it's tough to fix something that's working perfectly fine for me.

You can set the config file so that glass doesn't regenerate, or you can just set it to a longer amount of time. There are a lot of options in there and you can check here for more information.

I'm not blaming you, heh. More frustrated at myself for not rebooting earlier like I normally would. I'll make a ticket for you right away, also there's quite a few plugins on here that don't even have a Ticket page, like the devs aren't even looking for input, which is why that wasn't on my priority list -_-

I can only fix things once someone has reported them. I'm sorry you had to waste 30 whole minutes on this issue but there's nothing I could have done about it until now.
Please try to be understanding as all Bukkit plugins are provided to you for free, the developers spend hours working for no compensation, often get little to no appreciation for the service they have done for this community, and have to put up with an impatient, quick-tempered, and otherwise 'ignorant to the amount of work and knowledge it takes to develop and maintain a plugin' user base.
Make a ticket, it's much easier to keep track of bugs if you take advantage of the resources given to you here on BukkitDev. It takes a little more effort, but ensures that I get all the information I need from you without follow up questions and more wasted time. It also helps me keep all of bugs and requests organized and separated. It's really the least you can do to help me out as a developer... really.

Posted Nov 9, 2012Ugh, just spent like 30 mins trying to figure out why my added blocks to the config weren't working. /egreload does not work when adding new block types. You must reboot the server, please fix this.

I've been having a kind of weird time with Towny, their API is ill-defined and confusing. And I've been updating my other projects first since Shield isn't so popular yet.
Also, even without Shield support for Towny, it shouldn't be a huge deal as everything regenerates.
