EpicGear
Description
With EpicGear you can take your server's PvP or PvE to the next level by creating your own custom armor and weapons. Change the name, lore, armor value, cost, durability, enchants and potion effects on weapons (sword, axe, and bow) and armor (dyed leather) to make your unique gear.
Customization
- Create your gear by simply following the outline in the config and setting your desired specifications for each weapon or armor piece's category.
- All of the information you need to get started is right here! An easy-to-follow guide with example gear can be found on our Configuration Page.
Economy
- This plugin hooks into Vault, so it works seamlessly with any economy that uses Vault (Vault is not required for this plugin to work though!). You can also set any item as a "money item" to use as currency to purchase EpicGear.
Commands
- /eg buy <displayname> - Buy armor <displayname> for <cost> of <moneyitem>
- /eg reload - Reload updated Config
- /eg info [displayname] - Shows whatever is put in the "info" section of any piece of EpicGear
- /eg store - Pulls up a list of all EpicGear that you're created

Permissions

Unfortunately it's impossible (as far as I know) to change the amount of armor icons that shows up (like to have all 10 filled). The Idea about making the "moneyitem" more "unique" is a good one, I'm just not sure about the best way of doing that.

Hi, what i mean is that full diamond gear gives you 10 armor and full leather gives you 4 armor. Is it possible to edit the armor of an item so it will match the diamond gear armor?
With armor i mean the icons above the healthbar... (Not asking to change the icons, just the value)
Can't wait to test the update! Already have a cool suggestion :)
- The moneyitem should be unique and not obtainable trough mining etc like a diamond. My idea is because you can block leather dying to make a dye the moneyitem. As an example lets say the purple dye is the moneyitem (epic colour). The only requirement for this is to block crafting purple dye (maybe with a perm). But this will give you an unique moneyitem only obtainable by completing specific content like dungeons or donating. What do you think?

Unfortunately we can't change the icons for anything :( As for armor value, I am unsure of what you mean. Can you elaborate?

Thanks for your reply! Can you tell me if it will be possible to change the armor value of the items so it can match diamond gear? (Armor icons) Cause now its having the armor value (and icons) of leather gear.
When will the next update come out? Looking forward to it! This plugin can be so awesome... Just a few things missing.
Ps. Also an extra permission for buying the gear pls..

You have do remove your config, i did so cuz i uppdated the plugin and the new version gives another config file. So remove it.

Posted May 17, 2013As you might have gathered the config is not always working and the armor glitches at times. I'm recoding the way this is handled by the plugin and that should fix most (if not all) issues. This will (if everything goes as planed) be done sometime tomorrow.

The armor lowest and highest damage is a percentage chance, so there's no set value for diamond armor that I can give you :( We've found that the best way to balance is to have two people who can test the epic armor against each other with whatever other set of armor you wish to balance it to.
Unfortunately we can't get rid of the "Dyed" text with the armor pieces. We will look into the possible CanEnchant bug and fix whatever it is for the next update :) A block on leather dying will also be added in the next update. Thanks for the comments/suggestions!

Posted May 15, 2013Very nice plugin!! I have a few questions...
1. Is it possible you can increase the armor value so it will match diamond armor (or better)? 2. Is it possible te remove the Dyed text? 3. I set 'canenchant' to false, but i still can enchant the item (chest). Is this a bug? 4. Can you give me the PvpLowestDamage and other values for standard diamond armor? That way i can make balanced gear that is a little bit better than diamond. 5. Maybe it is a good idea to let the plugin block leather dying so people cant fake wearing epicgear :) ?
