This plugin adds commands for a user to issue a Emergency Alert System message.

Commands

All the main commands are under /eas. The commands are:

• /eas issue
• /eas warningtypes
• /eas help

/eas issue

/eas issue will broadcast a message, the content of that message depending on your arguments. Usage: /eas issue <warningtype (number)> <Location/Area> [More locations/Areas] You can put as many areas as you want in the command, but beware, the more locations, the longer the message will be.

Example: /eas issue 0 New_York Pittsburgh This would issue a Severe thunderstorm watch for New York and Pittsburgh. Do not use a space if there is a space in the name of the location. Please use a '_'. I may add a feature to replace '_'s with a space in the message.

/eas warningtypes

/eas warningtypes will return a list of the number codes to use in /eas issue.

0 - Severe Thunderstorm Watch 1 - Severe Thunderstorm Warning 2 - Tornado Watch 3 - Tornado Warning 4 - Hurricane Watch 5 - Hurricane Warning 6 - Severe Weather Emergency

/eas help

Shows the sender a guide to use the commands. Can also be shown by doing /eas

Spam Protection

One thing that people noticed about this plugin is that it could easily be used to spam. I have added a cooldown timer to the /eas issue command, which defaults to 30 seconds, later you will be able to change the cooldown time. I am also currently working on a banning system that moderators can use to ban players from using the /eas issue command.

Permissions

All users are given permission to this command by default, but here's the permission anyways. eas.user.issue There are a couple of other permissions, but they are not used yet, as they are for some upcoming features.
