Electrolize Server List Message (EZSLM)
With this plugin, not only can you set your MOTD while in-game, you can set your MOTD to have colours! It's very simple, and the command is OPs only, just for your safety, so permissions wont change anything.
Commands
- /setmotd <your new motd> - Sets the MOTD. Uses the following colour symbols $ and &.
- /ezmotd <your new motd> - Alias of /setmotd.
- /ezm <your new motd> - Alias of /setmotd.
Features
- Set coloured a MOTD (That bit you see on the server list)
- Change the MOTD in game
- Instant MOTD change. No restart or reload required!
- Use custom variables for any Minecraft Version
Falldowns
- When using a coloured MOTD, players on version before 1.4.2 see a blank message and some ??? for the player list.
Variables
- <name> - Gets the variable of server-name from server.properties
- <version> - Gets the current Minecraft server version

I'll look into it, as far as the code goes it is enabled for Console usage.

Posted Jan 23, 2013Should we be able to enter the commands via console? I've usually got a console window up so this would be really handy. Right now I get an unhandled exception error when trying it under 1.4.6. Seems to work fine in game yet.

Posted Oct 31, 20123 Versions have been uploaded. When Bukkit approves of them, get the latest one. Others have either Variable bugs or spelling mistakes.
