EchoPet
Important information on this project in light of recent events.

Quote from DSH105:The forums have now been enabled and can be accessed via the navigation bar. More importantly, I'm interested in your input towards the new pet attacking AI to be implemented in EchoPet v3.
If EchoPet is not loading on your Spigot 1.8 build and your server is outputting "Skipping loading of EchoPet as it does not work with Spigot 1.8 builds!", please try running a later Spigot patch. I can't do anything about older Spigot releases blacklisting the plugin (preventing it from loading).

The future of this plugin is still being determined.

Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

EchoPet is a simple Donator Perk plugin designed to add Pets that follow players around on their adventures throughout Minecraft. All Pets are custom entities spawned and controlled by the plugin.

| Great for donator perks! | |
| Pets are greatly customisable, through the extensive Command Base and PetMenu | |
| A Custom AI makes all Pets focused on specific goals, handled closely by the core of the Plugin | |
| All mobs can be Pets, even human entities | |
| All events fired by the plugin are accessible through the EchoPet Developer API | |
| The API also makes it possible to add many new and interesting features to the limit of creativity | |
| Support for MySQL databases |
Note: The Developer API is only available in v2.0.6 and after
All information can be found on the official EchoPet Wiki, which can be accessed using the button above

EchoPet comes with an auto-updater to save you, as a server owner, from continually checking this page for new files. It simply connects to dev.bukkit.org and compares the versions of available files. If you do not wish for EchoPet to perform this check, navigate to the Configuration File (config.yml) in the EchoPet directory of your plugins folder and change "checkForUpdates" and "autoUpdate" to "false". The first value disables the version comparison altogether and the second updates the plugin automatically if new files are detected.

Metrics is used to collect plugin statistics. Only data such as plugin version and players online is collected. If you do not wish for this data to be collected, disable it in the 'Plugin Metrics' folder of your 'plugins' directory.

If you're running 1.5.2-R0.1 then you need EchoPet 1.5.2.

No, the second argument is for mounts. /pet name <name> changes the pet name. And also, there should be commas (') in between data types. It doesn't matter in the version you're using, but it will in the next one.
@MrkingT Exactly.

Posted Jun 8, 2013Oh one more question, with the naming, I do /pet sheep:baby:blue bluey Shouldn't this chnage the name of the pet? I also tried /pet sheep bob But its just says BOB is and invalid mod type or something like that.... I am probably using the command wrong, can u please tell me how to use it? Thankyou

Posted Jun 8, 2013@Kluberge I already know about this issue and have fixed it. However, because EchoPet 2 is so close to finishing, I don't want to upload a file just yet.
@RrFull What doesn't work? Your comment is not helpful at all.

/pet name <name> already supports colours. And yes, block jumping is fixed in 2.0.

Posted Jun 7, 2013Ok I got your plugin to work and it looks so cool! Just wondering if you could add a feature so you can chnage the pets name, or even add color to the pets name... Anyway great plugin not sure if I am meant to post bugs here, and I know your plugin is in beta for 1.5.2 but the some mobs can't jump over one high blocks, well terrific plugin man, I use both of ur plugins for my V.I.P class and its really good! Thanks

Posted Jun 6, 2013@clapybanana It means it only works with that version...There's only one other build that's later, and that's a development build, so I wouldn't say it's not up to date.

Posted Jun 6, 2013@DSH105 So does this mean the plugin isn't up to date or does it mean I just got the wrong version? Plugin looks terrific btw! :D

Posted Jun 5, 2013@PvPServers Enderdragons are very complex entities. At this stage I'm not supporting Enderdragon pets, as I mentioned in my last post.
@broluigi So if I skip a development version of Bukkit it automatically means I'm no longer updating this plugin? I didn't think so...
@UnUltima23 They already do TP. And block jumping is also being worked on.
@clapybanana Read what version EchoPet is built on. It has nothing to do with the plugin and doesn't need 'fixing'
@dino120 Yeah. I'm in the process of making the config more user-friendly.
