What is EasyJetpack?
Many people on my server have requested that I create a jetpack plugin/mod. I say to them, isn't creative flight enough? That got me thinking. Could you add a jetpack to Minecraft multiplayer, without destroying vanilla as it is? Years of development have lead EasyJetpack to be where it is now. Using the power of all that useless coal you have, you can now fly around the skies.
We also have a API for developers to use. This allows you to create custom jetpacks, with custom logic. These don't even have to be jetpacks! They can be anything! If you can wear it or hold it, you can modify it. Click the API button above to learn more.
This plugin uses Metrics, which sends certain stats to mcstats.org (where you can view them as well). If you wish to opt-out, change opt-out from false to true in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml

I forgot to document the recipe for them - sorry about that.
At the bottom of the crafting table: Feather | Leather Boots | Feather
I will add a image for that to the usage section above ASAP.

Posted Dec 10, 2013What happened to the moon boots? It won't work when I try to craft them using 2 feathers, leather boots, and 3 iron ingots. Did the recipe change? Players still die if they go too high and have a soft landing.

I will add a configuration option soon.
To everyone else who suggested an idea and it hasn't appeared yet, since the recode I haven't had a chance to add these options because I wanted to get this new version out ASAP so that the old buggy version would be replaced. Do not worry - it will be added shortly.

Hi! I have a little problem with the fallboots! You should make it where if you don't have a jetpack in your inventory then the fallboots don't work! Because people could get the fallboots and run away from battle really easy because of the fallboots! Please do this I need it for my server!

As Seaboiii stated, yes, you can use Permissions plugins for multi-world permissions - This doesn't need to have a modification in the plugin itself.

Permissions allow that. For example groupmanager. You can define what permissions you want per world :)

@deancohen1994 I couldn't reproduce this with coal, but I guess I hardcoded it somewhere. Let me see what I can do.
Blocking people repairing the jetpacks is possible. I will add a configuration option for it (or permission) in the next version.
The jetpack 'coughing' without fuel was kinda intentional, but I will see what I can do about it.

Posted Aug 16, 2013Also, with default config, apparently a plain non-plugin-provided gold chestpiece lets you take 0 fall damage. Tested and confirmed with regular non-staff players.
