A simple plugin to allow your players to rent regions (like shops)!

It works great with ChestShops, etc.

Requirements

Vault
WorldGuard 5.5.2+

Permissions

regionmarket.create
regionmarket.use

Usage

1. Drop the jar in your plugins and configure permissions

2. Define a region using WorldGuard

3. Place a new sign anywhere with the text like so:

     [Rent]
   Region Name
      Price
 Duration (in sec)

4. Right click the sign to rent the region

How It Works

When the player rents the shop, it deducts the money from their account and the plugin adds them as a member of the WorldGuard region defined on the sign. This allows them to build within the region (eg. shop), for a set amount of times (sec, mins, hours, days, etc.), then when it expires, they are removed from the region's member list.

Planned Features

Persistence (save/load shops on restart/reload)
Warn owner when shop is about to expire
Auto clear region and return items to last owner
Accept duration in sec, min, hour, days, etc.

If the shop is in a worldguard region already you have to set the shops region priority to be higher then the other region (/region priority [ID] [Number]).

The only time WorldGuard consumes resources for me is when I set my server to use 512MB of Ram with only WorldEdit and WorldGuard as plugins. I am an amateur coder I don't know how I would do it with only WorldEdit, but I can do it with WorldGuard. Also, Renting shops is almost useless, unless you have a server that you can't freely build a town in survival and set up a shop.. Or are you trying to have them rent the right to create a shop in a Town-Square like area?

Please do. Also, if you do, could you make it not require WordlGuard, but maybe WorldEdit? WorldGuard is too resource-consuming for me.

I really don't wanna use WorldGuard on my server; it's too resource-consuming. Is there an alternative to this plugin that allows players to rent shops (I'm using ChestShop right now) to sell from?

Suggestion: Multiple regions per sign (if possible)? =)

IE:

[Rent] S1:S2:S3:S4 (rent 4 different regions) 5000 1209600 <- (2 weeks / 14 days.)

Edit: Plugin dead? The guy has been offline for more than a month... (July 22nd)

Sorry to Re-Post, but. Suggestion: Make a way to buy a plot. Or make it so if you put 0 (zero) in as the duration it makes the time infinite technically buying the property. Still has not been answered.

i try to test the plugin but if i put a region for rent it says like that the region cant be found but it is there so what did i do wrong
