➲ Installation:
- Download dtlTraders(Plus).jar and place it into your plugins folder. Since the recreation version "5.0.0" you need to delete the dtltraders folder! (shops created with older versions are automatic converted!)
- Download Citizens (Citizens2) and place that into your plugins folder as well.
- You also need Vault and ANY economy plugin.
- Start your server.
- Installation is done.
Note: If you want to convert again , check the Documentation and go to the section converter for more.
↝ Simple guide:
- Create or add trait trader's to a npc with the GUI /dtltraders trait
- Make your shops using /dtltraders create "name"
- Add the items in your inventory that you want to sell in the shop
- Manage/edit shops content using /dtltraders edit or /dtltraders trait
- In the edit options you can drag/drop items, set prices, set limits, set names and much more .
- After finish, right click on the NPC and choose the shop you want to hook into.
- You are done :)

You might use limits (but thats quite more work), or i might try to create a new type that works mostly like server trader just it removes items after you gave them to the inventory

The problem is it detects the plugin but when i attempt to use the /trader create [Name] it wont work. It says: Did you mean /trader clear So its using the old trader plugin. Can someone help me. I have now removed the old CitiTraders plugin. Still get this error. Note: I also tried the NOT DevBuild also just the Normal Recommended Build. But i still get the same error.

Posted Mar 2, 2013Is there a way to set up a simple trader?, you give him the amount of the item you want to sell to other players and he sell it for you.
If you give him 10xIron he only can sell 10xiron. I only find the way to sell infinite items.

I think right clicking on the trader you want to remove with a stick, and typing in "/npc remove" should work.

Yes, I'm using 2.4.3 and yes bperms is compatible with vault. I also updated vault to latest build. Thanks for the quick reply, hopefully you'll find something! =P

Posted Mar 1, 2013Also, every time I type a /trader command, I either get "This command is invalid" or "You don't have permissions to use this command" - again, I remain OP and I am not typing things incorrectly.
Just saw now, when I do /trader help, I get told I have no permission and then this java error appears in console:

I recently updated my whole server to latest bukkit, latest citizens and latest dtltraders and been having some problems. Everything worked find in version dtlTrader2.2.5.jar which I was using for a while, however for some reason now I get the following problems:
Entering manager mode with a server NPC screws things up. When I'm in manager mode, i get the activated message then when I right click the NPC, "You dont have permissions to do this". I have not altered permissions and I just checked now, it appears that you have not changed any permissions either? Then, after having done this, all NPCs I right click come up with the same permissions error and I can't use the shops at all. This is only fixed by relogging and doing /npc sel - yes, I am OP.
Then, when I try and use a player shop, I get the same "You dont have permissions to do this" message. Whether or not I have tried manager mode or not. I assume then that players who are using the server shops (which I own) can not use the
That's pretty much stopping me from testing out anything and all and I can't downgrade citizens because my server is now on 1.4.7. Please let me know if there's a fix, no messages appear in console. I am also using latest bpermissions. Hopefully this is enough information - your work and support is awesome! =)

I did not say to update to the dev build, maybe I've used wrong words. Ok anyway the question was if you are/was using 2.4.3 or 2.5 dev build. Because the dev one is really bugged atm and still working on it.

Thank you for the help. But I updated to the dev build and things got worse. Now half of each item in every npc in my server has been removed. If there were two stacks of wooden planks, there is only one left.
I will have to revert to an older version and backup.

Some members of my staff have brought a pretty bad bug with dtl to my attention. We aren't able to consistently reproduce it, but something is definitely going wrong.
When switching tabs in management mode, i.e. from price to stock, there is sometimes this horrible bug where a certain item in the NPC will copy itself to the first available slot in the NPC inventory.
If there is more than one stack of that bugged block / item, it will reproduce either a full or half stack, plus 1. The rest will be missing. Other times, it will copy itself and leave part of the stack of the original in place.
Also, if you have a price set on a bugged item before it bugs, it will permanently list the price as "pattern price" after the bug happens.
If you remove the bugged item stacks and try to put fresh ones in, they just start the replicating problem all over.
However, you can still purchase bugged blocks / items from the NPC without issue.
When this happens, the trader becomes irrevocably and indefinitely broken and you have to make a new one from scratch.
Could you please look into this for us?

I did run the 0.8 version, but not sure which build. So I just downloaded the latest build (868) from http://ci.citizensnpcs.com/view/Add-ons/job/Denizen/
but unfortunately still got the same problem.
Could you please have a look and see which Build you are running of denizen? Maybe there is a incompatibility problem with the latest versions?
