➲ Installation:
- Download dtlTraders(Plus).jar and place it into your plugins folder. Since the recreation version "5.0.0" you need to delete the dtltraders folder! (shops created with older versions are automatic converted!)
- Download Citizens (Citizens2) and place that into your plugins folder as well.
- You also need Vault and ANY economy plugin.
- Start your server.
- Installation is done.
Note: If you want to convert again , check the Documentation and go to the section converter for more.
↝ Simple guide:
- Create or add trait trader's to a npc with the GUI /dtltraders trait
- Make your shops using /dtltraders create "name"
- Add the items in your inventory that you want to sell in the shop
- Manage/edit shops content using /dtltraders edit or /dtltraders trait
- In the edit options you can drag/drop items, set prices, set limits, set names and much more .
- After finish, right click on the NPC and choose the shop you want to hook into.
- You are done :)

No lore support for 2.4.3, it has no support for most NBT data, because I need to check the whole Inventory of a player to add the lores to items he might sell, the data, is lost.
2.5.0 is still unstable, and I really don't got the time right now to sit on it 24h and fix it :/
Also, If you got issues, like bugs, or wrong loading or anything else, use GitHub for reporting this. It's hard to sometimes look for 4-5 last pages to see what bugs you reported.
Always tell me all versions if you are using them (dtlTraders, Bukkit, Citizens2, Denizen), and if you converted from CitiTraders2
Anyway going to write this on the project page.

I really dunno what version you re using then... do you got any messages when using these commands? You are using maybe dtlWallets? What version you are also using

Wiki should work, maybe they made some changes to it. If it still persists tell me what site you are visiting
And Market Traders are atm not really supported, so far I could only get a small working version of Server Traders (Dunno how player traders work).
P.S. Guys I'm really short of time, so please be understanding. Going to have some free time, this weekend, will do my best to fix some issues, but remember besides work, school, public projects etc. I got also private life ;)

yeah is happen also with custom spawner, i just have like 24 spawner in my inventory, i open the shop, and poof! only 2 spawner i have now!

Posted Apr 24, 2013There is a serious glitch going on: Whenever you open the traders shop, it deletes the lore off all the items in your inventory. Please fix this, lore is a necessary thing for my server.

Posted Apr 24, 2013Ok, while preparing to update our server, dtlTraders, Alchemist, and Blacksmith were the citizens addon plugins that needed updating. Alchemist and Blacksmith seemed to work easily after I updated them, but dtlTraders seems to be having an issue. First I tried the dtlTraders v2.4.3 (1.5.1 update) from above, and it loaded but said (for a few npc's)
[SEVERE] [Citizens] Skipped broken or missing trait stockroom while loading ID 9. Has the name changed?

I tested various DevBuilds, most of which had the same result, some said the plugin was out of date when trying to load it. I tried various builds all the way back to #118, #121 seemed to be the farthest back before they all started doing the plugin is out of date. A couple of the devbuilds also said that the trader trait crashed while trying to load certain npc's.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Posted Apr 23, 2013Hey, thanks for the quick response and no worries any more turns out it was the hoster just happened to be in time when I added this plugin :/
On a side note your wiki seems to be down and I can't find some of the commands page anywhere. Any ETA when the wiki comes back ?
One last thing,Could you give and example of a pattern for a market trader as I can't seem to get it working nor can I find a example.

not /wallet set infinite, told ya ;D /trader wallet infinite is for 2.4.3 and /trader wallet set infinite is for 2.5, there is no /wallet command in this plugin :P

Posted Apr 22, 2013@dandielo Newest version (not dev). I gave myself over $1m. $100 for the item. The npc says Owner: no owner, and Wallet: npc. Everytime I do /wallet set infinite it wont change the wallet: npc to wallet: infinite.

Ok so, tell me the version you are using, money you got on your account, the total money you should get for that item, and try just type /trader to see what information you get for the selected trader, (needs to be in mm)

Posted Apr 21, 2013Hey for some reason my trader npc wont buy items from players. He is a server trader so he should have unlimited money yet for some reason when i try to sell him an item chat says "someone dosent have enough money"

The limit can be set in the config file. Under the trader node, by default it's set to 1.
The limit is counted by using the traders "owner" property. So you got beside the NPC owner, a Trader owner, so if some1 is already a owner of a Trader he won't be able to hire another. But because this wasn't to much tested, I would be really happy about some test results :)
About that memory leak, can you maybe tell me when this happens? Like on many trader open/close operations? or just with time? Because it's hard to create a memory leak in Java :P but I don't say it's impossible, so any additional information would be helpful.

Posted Apr 21, 2013Hey, firstly I would like to say that love the plugin and the roleplay server I am currently on wants to use this however we have come across two problems that I hope you can help me with.
Firstly /trader hire only seems to work for some people and the majority get "You can not have any more traders" How do you set how many traders that each person can have? I apologize in advance if its just me being stupid.
Secondly the plugin seems to have a rather big memory leak, any way to fix this or again is it just me being dump and doing something wrong?
