➲ Installation:

Download dtlTraders(Plus).jar and place it into your plugins folder. Since the recreation version "5.0.0" you need to delete the dtltraders folder! (shops created with older versions are automatic converted!)
Download Citizens (Citizens2) and place that into your plugins folder as well.
You also need Vault and ANY economy plugin.
Start your server.
Installation is done.

Note: If you want to convert again , check the Documentation and go to the section converter for more.

↝ Simple guide:

Create or add trait trader's to a npc with the GUI /dtltraders trait
Make your shops using /dtltraders create "name"
Add the items in your inventory that you want to sell in the shop
Manage/edit shops content using /dtltraders edit or /dtltraders trait
In the edit options you can drag/drop items, set prices, set limits, set names and much more .
After finish, right click on the NPC and choose the shop you want to hook into.
You are done :)

Is it currently possible to change the default setting of debug mode? I cant find anything in the config.yml

So what I am doing is this.

Create trading npc - /trader create [name]
left click to enable editing
Right click to open GUI
Click green wool to unlock items
Add items
Click yellow wool to lock items
Click black wool to set prices
Try clicking with a dirt block to set the item to $0.01

This showed up when I just restarted my server. But there are no errors in the console.

I just looked at my saves.yml and all the items that I added are now gone. this it just after I added in two items and added worth. I did use a dirt block, but for some reason it added a worth of $1 http://pastebin.com/dEE0rYFR

Most probably you got an Trader in a "PVP-Disabled" area, in that case set in the config node "trader.managing.righ-click" to true. And right click a trader with a stick in hand.

How are you adding those attributes (via file?) and how are you adding this items, may you send an example?

does it shows up any errors? Any console information? This kind of behavior is quite weird, could you please send me a "Step reconstruction", how are you adding items (with UI wools clicking) and send me your saves.yml from Citizens plugin folder, after you set an trader (2 items) and used this command
/citizens save

hey guys,

Im having a bit of trouble adding blocks to traders. I am adding the blocks and then when I go to adjust the worth it starts glitching. All blocks start to act as $1 and then when I close the window all my items have vanished out of the trader. I have tried restarting the server to see if that will update the traders but it doesnt do anything.

I sometimes works fine, I was able to set up a trader but then half an hour later he was wiped clean.

I am running 1.6.2 DTLTraders v3.0.4 Citizens2 v

If you updated from version 2.x.x to 3.0 then you should look into the PiratePad and see what you need to change to avoid stock deleting.

I just made a pig as one trader on my server, so it should also be possible to give them the villager looking.

Hello, there is a plugin called: ShopKeeper which allows you to make villagers and customize what they sell. I don't like to have Steve as a seller in my shop. I would be very thankful if you could add possibility to use Villagers in this plugin. I would switch directly to this plugin. Thanks.

This error is driiiiiiiving me insane lmao. I fixed the bug that crashed dtltraders. Seems that plugin really messes up a server if you remove it. Took me alll day to clear my server from it.

They work like you said, just there is no command to apply a pattern to a trader so you would need to add them using saves.yml, and also in this file are saved all items and their prices under the p: keyword.

A price will be applied from a pattern if the item does not have the p: keyword set. So a fresh item added to a traders inventory does not have that keyword, its applied upon price setting.

So when you want to convert all your saves into a price pattern you would just need to copy all items from saves.yml (sell to sell and buy to buy), most probably just leave the id and p: keyword in the pattern, and remove every p: keyword from saves. (will do a commands for this later). And set in the saves.yml the pattern names under patterns:, (as a list item) so like this:

trader: ... patterns: - pattern_name

If you updated from 2.x then it could be a compatibility issue, (or when right one of the builds got a bug) anyway can you send me your saves.yml i would like to use it to check that.

About that feature to set blocks as price, i will probably do this when i split dtlTraders into 2 plugin (one for traders one for bankers) but still i dont got the idea how to do this :D
