I'm sure you've thought about doing some kind of drugs in Minecraft. Whether it was looking at sugar and thinking "this looks awful lot like cocaine", or having taken a Nausea potion and thinking "woah, this is so cool!". Well, this plugin provides you the quickest and simplest way of taking a large variety of different drugs. Simple cocaine, trippy acid, and everything in between!

DrugsXL is a DRUG plugin I've been working on for quite a while. I've been adding drugs here and there, fixing bugs here and there. I'm finally done. And I want to share it with you guys.
Now, let me clear something up. It's not an economy plugin. You don't "sell" drugs. You use them.
You might be wondering, "why don't I just use those other 912839212343432 drug plugins?". Well, it's because mine actually has
varied effects. Not just some silly nausea. Every drug has a different effect.
You can also customize this plugin to an unimaginable extent with the new config.yml file that was added! That's right, edit the names, the items, the item names, the text, everything! This plugin has a permission for every single drug, and will also rename drugs to their appropriate name if that user has the permission! All this, and it's as simple as dropping a file in your plugins folder (it is dropping a file in your plugins folder!).

No, this is not a planned feature as it would be very complicated to use. Many people would complain on not being able to use it. But in the next version, you will be able to turn off nausea for specific drugs.

But I was able to fix it long before the reply, cause imediately as I did I went to sleep (somehow I do a better job when I'm sleepy for some reason).

This is exactly what I was thinking while making this plugin. I thought "let's add this feature. Oh wait what if they don't want it? Let's make it extremely configurable! yay!". And even more flexibility is coming with DXL1.6! Some of the players on your server know a few features, you can ask them. (I popped on your server for a few minutes to help you with your problem, you weren't there unfortunately.)

It is possible as I don't remember configuring any permission nodes for 1.6.2 or earlier and everything worked without any problems.
But then again I wasn't the one to Install/Update the plugin till recently.
Edit: I just love the flexibility of your plugin, the thought of being able to add/remove drugs, have recipes to craft them and much more is just awesome.
I always say ... "Better to have it and not need it ... than need it and not have it" xD

Well I fixed the problem and it was my fault apparently,
I had to add all the permission nodes for it to work ... using * as a wildcard just wouldn't work xD

Get rid of the old drugs, not sure what might be causing it. Try deleting the configuration file, then reloading the server so it creates a fresh one. Make sure the config file has everything spelled correctly, because I didn't implement error catching for the true/false options.

Well ... it worked fine on 1.6.2 tho I don't recall using permissions back then ... and we're using group manager.
I meant I still have some leftover drugs from when we used 1.6.2 but they don't work anymore.
Edit: I'm guessing it's not gonna work unless I add all permission nodes? cause I've been using drugsxl.use.* and drugsxl.get.* respectively as well as drugsxl.* for admins.

Hmm.. Weird. It didn't work on 1.6.2 either? That's weird, I've tested it fully on 1.6.2. What exactly is happening? Is it just with the Quick Drug Shop? Also, what Permission plugin are you using? Because it works perfectly with PermissionEx.
EDIT: I just tested it on 1.6.4, works fine with PermissionsEx.

Posted Oct 27, 2013I seem to have hit a bit of a snag.
All the permission nodes are in place, the config file is configured properly yet noone can get the drugs/use the quick stop shop.
The plugin itself reports that it loads properly, with those funny messages xD
I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or is anyone else experiencing this.
Note: we're using a dev build of craftbukkit for 1.6.4 and DXL1.5.4.jar we still have some drugs left from when the plugin and server were both 1.6.2 and those seem to not work either.
