What does this plugin do?
This plugin enables you to build a drill. The drill will drill downwars with each contraction - until it reaches bedrock, collecting any block in it's path.
Components
The blocks you place (iron, gold or diamond) next to the drill, defines its harvest multiplier. One iron blocks adds a 1x multiplier, gold 2x and diamond 3x. The blocks that are affected by this multiplier are basic materials, such as stone, dirt and sand. You can mix blocks - use 1 iron block and 1 gold block for a 3x multiplier. Use 2 diamond blocks for a 6x multiplier.
How do I build a drill?
A drill consists of 1 chest, 2 blocks of iron, 1 normal piston and 1 lever. Begin by placing your piston, with it's moving rectractable arm upwards. Place 2 iron blocks on either side of the piston, as well as a chest and lever. There, that's it! Now move the piston (or drill) up and down by cranking the lever.

As for licensing, the way I see it, you probably learned how to make plugins by looking at the source code for other plugins, so you should pay back the favor by releasing your source code for public viewing. You're not expecting to make money off of this plugin, so why not make it open source? It doesn't hurt you, but it helps everyone else.

Also, I'm wondering about lines 154-158. "if the block is bedrock, break it, then add a block of that type to the chest"
In any case, you should be using "getDrops()" instead of storing the item. With your plugin, people basically get silk-touch+ (silk touch + monster eggs, piston heads, etc)
Also, why don't you stick lines 58-138 in a loop instead of copypasta 4x over?

Fixed. It will only yield more blocks if they are basic materials such as stone, sand, gravel, etc.

Posted Feb 24, 2013The plugin is great fun, my players love it. But the yield factor 4 lets them duplicate items, so I had to deactivate it again. Place a Diamond ore block you drilled under the drill. Drill again you have 4. Repeat you have 16. Repeat you have 64. Repeat you have 256, etc... So permission nodes and the yield factor being setable in a config file would be very good. Thanks for your idea and work on this plugin.
