DragonTravel
It offers server-admins the possibility to add a new outstanding way of travel to their servers.

Features:
- Allows admins to set destinations for the dragons.
- Allows players with the specific permission to summon and mount a dragon and...
...fly flights which consists out of waypoints(as many as you like)
...fly to destinations which have been set by an admin before.
...fly to coordinates chosen via command.
...fly to players choosen via command(different permission-nodes for other types of travel).
...fly to your faction's home-position (Factions required)
...fly to your town's spawn (Towny required)
...fly to a home-position which has been set by this player earlier. - Allows admins to set stations and limit the mounting of dragons to these locations (or a specified radius around it).
- Possibility to require a special item for players to use the plugin (e.g. a dragon-egg)
- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?
- Is it possible to control the dragon manually?
- Is it possible to move the rider closer to the dragon to avoid him flying above it?

Lol, I worked on it for 4 months quite active and then worked on it less and less and now that I started studying, I don't think I will have more time during the next months.
False messages? Which ones? Do you mean the point about multiworld-support? I implemented multiworld-support some months ago, but due to the fact that you rewrote DragonTravel, the changes on my machine never were released and you know that.

Stop giving false messages to our userbase, holy crap. You could not bring the time in about almost a year to work on DragonTravel probarly, that's why I declared you as a documenter, sorry mate.

@mcferson I wanted to start this multiworld stuff a while ago but I never really reached the motivation to make it, because I wanted to do other cool stuff in the coding-world, such as doing websites and applications. I do infact want to implement multiworld-kinda-things but in the matter that the dragon and player will warp/teleport to the world, where the correct destination is, because it would be a little stupid if I would have to check on every movement of the dragon, if he flies into a portal, which might be made via Multiverse etc. You could just make a waypoint into the portal though ;)
Ey, everything is possible, it just costs me a lot of time and features are endless to add, right?
By the way, the demotiviation comes mainly from the fact, that nobody gives a shit io GitHub about DragonTravel, in all the time, we had only 1 other contributor to the project(https://github.com/kjhf).

We already started working in this quite some time ago, but there were some problems which prevented us from finishing it and due to the fact that there was a recode of the plugin since we started, we need to develop it from the beginning on again.
I just started to work and study, so the time I can contribute to DragonTravel is very limited. -.-

Posted Oct 3, 2012a BIG suggestion : support multiworld.
i.e. i have a map for the town inside and one for the main world. inside the town there is the dragon station and the destination is outside (in the wild world). that means the dragon must reach the city map's edge (or a certain point, or the warp zone provided by multiverse, anyway), tp to the other map and continue the flight from the city location to the destination.

I'm using Anticheat and my players get kicked for flyhack when they are using a dragon.. the AC developer has told me: "The developer needs to implement our API, we don't internally build in exceptions for certain things, that's just crazy." is it possible do something?

It is possible to set a path for travels (in DragonTravel those routes are called "Flights"), but continuesly moving dragons haven't being implemented yet. We already thought about it, but didn't work on it yet.

Any idea how I could make it so players are required to have a dragon egg in their inventory to ride a the dragon? Maybe in combination with another plugin?
I reset the End daily and would like to have a use for the dragon eggs. The reasoning would be the dragon obeys them because they have defeated an Ender Dragon. And it would be a reason for everyone to get an egg.

Please check the startup-log, I guess you updated DragonTravel, but forgot to delete the old configs (config.yml and messages.yml, please create a backup before deleting them).
The new version adds more options to the config and if DragonTravel detects an older config it cannot create a new one and shuts down.
