DragonTravel
It offers server-admins the possibility to add a new outstanding way of travel to their servers.
More videos on DragonTravel (including tutorials)
Features:
- Allows admins to set destinations for the dragons.
- Allows players with the specific permission to summon and mount a dragon and...
...fly flights which consists out of waypoints(as many as you like)
...fly to destinations which have been set by an admin before.
...fly to coordinates chosen via command.
...fly to players choosen via command(different permission-nodes for other types of travel).
...fly to your faction's home-position (Factions required)
...fly to your town's spawn (Towny required)
...fly to a home-position which has been set by this player earlier. - Allows admins to set stations and limit the mounting of dragons to these locations (or a specified radius around it).
- Possibility to require a special item for players to use the plugin (e.g. a dragon-egg)
- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?
- Is it possible to control the dragon manually?
- Is it possible to move the rider closer to the dragon to avoid him flying above it?
- DragonTravel does not start, what can be the problem?
You can find the answers to those questions in the FAQ!
Please read the paragraph above before posting any questions!

/dt mount doesn't even exist in DragonTravel Phoenix.
Quite a lot of things changed, got added or removed with the release of DT Phoenix, please take a look at the new temporary wiki (dragontravelphoenixwiki.phiwa.eu).
Concerning the config-option, this shouldn't be a problem. When I decided to code it that way, I thought that having it set to true by default leads to problems like I know themwith the normal TP-command my time as a server-owner: People randomly port to other players who are then annoyed and you got big trouble on your server. ;)

The ptravel on the latest version is broke/useless, players can't travel to other players when they have the permission unless the player toggles it on. I want it by default toggled on but can't find anything like that in permissions/config. I would like it so you can have it on by default like it used to be then players with a permission can toggle it off. Would be awesome if you could make it like that as at the moment it's useless, thanks!
Also /dt mount no longer works.

What do you mean with "types of permissions"? We have a huge permissions-system implemented to modify which user is allowed to use which feature and you can use all permissions-plugin available for BukkitDev. o.O

Posted Sep 3, 2013If you can't make the health-bar disappear, what about naming the dragon Remaining time and have his health gradually decrease so you could keep track of how close you are to the end of your travel?

I already read it some minutes atfer the creation, but wanted to take a look at the problem before posting a reply.
I guess I'll fix this bug in the next version, until then you can stop the server, edit the database by hand and start it again afterwards to remove the station. :)
Sorry for the long response-time.

Not as easy as it sounds, x3nec is already working on it, but we need to create an interface which enables us to treat the dragon as a mob and a vehicle to control the SHIFT-dismount which only works for vehicles (yes, pigs and horses count as vehicles in Minecraft :)).

Posted Sep 2, 2013Hello, I am having a lot of trouble with the permissions. I use PermissionsEx and put "dt.user" in with the membe commands and they still cant seem to type in a DragonTravel command. I even tried the non-group commands like dt.travel or dt.flight and still they cannot execute the command. "You do not have permission to perform this command." But I want them to be able to travel by dragon! Is there anyway you can help me??

Thanks for the report mate! Problem seems to be solved, both wikis are up and running. :)
@tazrof
Which version of Craftbukkit are you running?
The problem about DragonTravel is that due to the changes we make for the dragons to let them fly, we need to import a class whose name changes with every CB-version.
Result: Every DragonTravel-version works with exactly one Craftbukkit-version.
So if you are not running CB 1.6.2-R0.1, DT Phoenix Alpha v0.0.0.2 won't work. :)
