...fly to coordinates chosen via command.
...fly to players choosen via command(different permission-nodes for other types of travel).
...fly to your faction's home-position (Factions required)
...fly to your town's spawn (Towny required)
...fly to a home-position which has been set by this player earlier. - Allows admins to set stations and limit the mounting of dragons to these locations (or a specified radius around it).

- Making signs which automatically mount a player and bring them to the written destination on the sign.
- Permissions-Support
- Support of all Economy-Plugins supported by Vault (Vault is required for that)!
Admins can set different prices for all ways of travel! - Admins can choose in the config whether dragons of this plugin should destroy blocks or if any dragons should break blocks when touching.
- All messages are fully customizable! Default messages.yml is English, but we provide German and French language files as well.
Due to the fact that things can change rapidly in this project, I stopped maintaining instructions on the plugin and other information like a list of commands/permissions in the forums, on this page etc. and decided to create a central location where you can always find all information up-to-date: The DragonTravel-Wiki.
Please use this wiki and report all mistakes you find in there and avoid posting questions on topics like commands/permissions/sign-creation etc., which are answered in the wiki, in the comments.
The questions and requests posted in the comments are repeating and there are some questions we answer at least once per week, so we decided to write down some of those Frequently Asked Questions.
Please read the questions below and see if you can find your question there, this really saves us time we can then spend on the development of DragonTravel.
- Is it possible to change the speed the dragon's wings are flapping?
- Is it possible to remove the dragon's health-bar?
- Is it possible to control the dragon manually?
- Is it possible to move the rider closer to the dragon to avoid him flying above it?
- DragonTravel does not start, what can be the problem?
You can find the answers to those questions in the FAQ!
Please read the paragraph above before posting any questions!

Posted Mar 4, 2013What other permissions are required for DragonTravel besides dt.* ? According to your wiki thats the only one required and yet when using Group Manager and adding dt.* to the default profile, every player is still harassed that they do not have permission to do that. First plugin I encounter with a permission problem I can't solve. The only group that is able to use DragonTravel is the Admins and I assume thats because they have permission '*'
Any ideas what I might be missing here? I went through the config file and made Economy: false and changed the cost of all trips to 0.0
I feel like there might be a Vault.* needed or something but cant seem to figure it out Thanks in advance for the help

The config-option "PayFlight" specifies the cost of a flight (same price for all flights).

We already have a ticket on that idea and we plan to add that in the future, but I don't know when we'll add it.

Posted Feb 26, 2013Can you add a permission that allows players to use certain flights: dt.flight.city
Also, possibly supporting that with signs.
I'm trying to set up dungeons that give you the ability to use the town's outgoing DT flights upon completion. At the moment I can only grant basic use of the DT flights, it would be awesome if you added separate permission nodes.

We already know about this error, but I think there is no ticket on that yet, so if you could simply file a ticket, we have it on the "open todo-list" and not only on our internal one. :)

Posted Feb 25, 2013When my players type /dt ptoggle, for some reason it tells them, ptravel has been turned on. However, players can still ptravel to them whether they have it on or off. Any way to fix this?

Could you please list all your steps?
First create the flight using a command and then you please the sign somewhere, putting exactly the same name on it as you used in the command.
Do you have the correct permissions?

Take a look at the wiki in the section "Flight Signs" of the "Signs"-page. The layout...
[DragonTravel]
Flight
NameOfYourFlight
-empty-
...should do the job.
Concerning your second point about the stationary dragons: No, it's not possible.

I think this would require a new destination-type for factions. At the moment we think about introducing ONE type of locations because this would make some things easier than having stations and destinations.
We could then add a feature like that as well. :)

We thought about how to design inter-world travels for a long time now and we couldn't really decide.
Our ideas:
That were our ideas on how the dragon could leave the old world.
Then we also had some ideas on how (and where) the dragon could spawn in the other world:
We couldn't really decide which of those ideas we should combine and all of them would require big changes in the current code, that's why we didn't implement it yet.
I personally do not really like the idea of such a huge portal because it influences the game too much if you spawns something like that and I think it wouldn't look that good as well.

Posted Feb 22, 2013Feature Request!
Make a feature where when inter-world travel is needed it spawns a 40x30 block wall made out of portals (90). Then the dragon fly's into it into the desired world or to the desired player.
