Double Jump Plugin
Double Jump(Now with permissions)
This is a very lightweight plugin that allows your Minecraft character to leap and jump his way around the Minecraft world.
Usage
It is a very simple to use plugin, It only requires you to simply tap space and tap it again whilst in mid air and moving in a direction. This plugin will only work in survival mode because in creative you can fly, obviously.
==== What is it meant for? ==== This type of plugin is very popular to use in the hubs of servers, so you can explore the hub and get around with ease. However this plugin can be used throughout your whole server.
Commands
/double Enables double jump for people with the permission doublejump.enable

Posted Apr 15, 2016Excelent plugin, good job! The old double jump plugin I had required that all players have /fly enable! That was stupid, they could glitch and fly instead of jumping! Your plugin is sooooo cool :)

I looked a bit into your code and got shocked to see that the /double command does not actually do anything, but print a message. To make it functional, I recommand using an Arraylist of players, storing players who toggle double jump in that list, and then only peform the double jump if the person in in the arraylist. Then, if a person toggles again, remove him from the arraylist.
Also, your plugin conflicts with other plugin. Indeed, a /fly with essentials won't work as your plugin deals with double jumps using the flight toggle.
Also, your plugin completly ruins the life system as it changes downfall damage.
Anyways, your plugin still works and is nice for simple purposes and I thank you for sharing it even though, I recommand some work to make it really useful!

Is there a way you can reduce the fall damage from double jump? People seem to die from just jumping.
Also seems that jumping 1 block kills people also, this does conflict a hell of alot with mcmmo.

At the current time there is no way to "disable" it you can only prevent people from activating it, it would be considerably difficult to disable it per say. And for /fly I have not made it compatible in anyway with that command, I'm sure I can be done but this plugin is just for double jump.

I have added the permission to the event aswell so now you need to be op to do /double and that command now works all players will have to do the /double command on entry every time due to this update

Posted Feb 10, 2015okay so i've determined that players also need this permissions to use /double
bukkit.canperform
what is that :S i can't get info on that permission anywhere
update: how do i turn off double jumping? and how do i fly, i'm able to turn flying on and off now but i still keep doublejumping when i try to fly
update: i removed doublejump.enable and im still able to use the command with the bukkit.canperform permission
also, doublejumping is on by default

so far this is my best option for double jumping in 1.8 spigot
other plugins have problems like:
not working
breaking fly
some things i'd kinda like to see, or at least have an explanation to why it's not pleasently possibly is fine too, are:
player specific toggling (each player can toggle double jumping on or off)
perms would be okay, but toggling would be yuhm
o also, i like to be able to add effects :)
sounds, effects, trails, etc :)
anyways don't do anything just because i want it
just giving some input on my thoughts, i know i don't know much about plugin making so
i'm not gonna REQUEST anything, cause like i said,
it should be pleasent :)
