Dolphin's Economy

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Dolphin's economy is a fun new economy plugin centered around making minecraft more realistic. Now, a lot of people probably dread having to go to work in a video game. Your thinking, NO!!! NEVER!! I'LL NEVER PUT THIS PLUGIN ON MY SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why do u dread it? Well, because it reminds u of real work. But with THIS plugin, real work can be fun!!!! Which is why I made it. So, you can go on you go on doing what u always do, but get payed for it! Cool, huh? Get ready to hear about what we plan to put in this to be-awesome plugin!!

Well, first off, pre-created customizable jobs. You can also create new ones if you want. Each job also has a customizable rank set. CEO AND CFO ARE REQUIRED! Just to make things more realistic.

Your job could make food, it could sell products, it could have a service that it does, you get it, right? You could even be a monster hunter, an assassin, a member of a special forces group, YOU DECIDE!!! You can also have multiple jobs if you want. (If you are of more than one job, at least one must be a fighting job building job or a resource job. If you are working more than 2, than most of your jobs must be fighting jobs building jobs and/or resource jobs, and only one can be a non-fighting, non-building, or non-resource.

Each job is part of a certain category. There are 5 categories, Fighting, Product sales, Resource, Building and food.

Fighting job, well, kills things. Some fighting jobs require special education that requires you to only be in that job during training. See crossover jobs, for more info on fighters and resource.

Product sales, makes and sells things. Crafting, forging, you know. See crossover jobs, for more info on product sales and resource.

Resource, is for the folks who like mining, and lumberjacking. See crossover jobs, for more info on fighters and resource.

Building, well builds stuff. See crossover jobs for info on this and other classes.

Food, you know you make food.

Crossover jobs: These are jobs related to each other that count as one job, instead of having it be multiclass. Building and others: Building jobs can crossover with many job categories. Resource + Fighter: Resource + Fighter can be used to gather materials from animals and monsters, that can be obtained by other businesses to be used for some reason. Product + Resource: These two work together good. A miner and a weaponsmith as one class, for example.

Breaks, paychecks, the bank and savings accounts: How are breaks selected. Well, we have a random number generator that picks a break when someone enters a business. ALL BREAKS are during daytime hours, to make it fair. If there are 1-3 players in a business, only one person can occupy a break slot. 4-7, 2 people can have the same break. 8 or more, CEO chooses how many per break slot, all though the number must be 3 or higher. Also, at least 1 person must be in the business at all times, unless only 1 person works there. But, in the night, everyone is allowed to leave or stay in there business. Paychecks: You will get a certain amount payed per minecraft hour. How much is determined by your job and job rank. You can also get bonus payment from the CEO. The CEO can gives themselves bonus payment. The games writes the checks, and makes sure that only YOU can use your paycheck. What is in your paycheck consists of: How many hours you worked, times how much you get per hour, plus any bonuses from the CEO. The Bank: The bank is run by steve-looking cpus named Bank_CEO, Teller#1, Teller#2 Teller#3, Teller#4, and savings_account_manger. How this works is, of course you give an open teller your pay check, and it is deposited. If this is your first break, than you must then write a check for a dollar 50 to the bank to open a savings account to keep all your money. You only need to do this once. However, you must always deposit your paycheck at the beginning of your break.

Now what?: Now, you can buy things from stores, eat some food, or just advertise your business!

Notes: Look up Magnetcraft on the minecraft wiki, and find my other mod, maybe to be ported to bukkit.
