DisplayChest

Table of Contents

DisplayChest allows you to create menus on a chest and put items inside that menu. This fully protects the chest making it so you can place it anywhere and it can't be destroyed.

Currently it is all file driven. When you use the create command it creates a new file in the plugins folder (plugins/DisplayChest)

hi, how do you work it, i put my kit in the chest then did /dc create 1

after i left click on the chest and its empty. i dont get it? any idea how?

Can You please add a Feature to where u have to shift click to view the items...i have a crate plugin installed to go with this plugin and every time someone opens a crate it shows whats in the chest and i don't want that. Or if others dont like this idea can you send me a personal .jar this this change in it?

Yeah isnt working at all on the latest spigot builds for 1.7.10 and im using the dependency.

adding is a few examples would go down well for this plugin as I was finding it hard learning it off what you have above, tho josh_cooper helped out a lot, I was having trouble with my spacing so a example would go down nice withing the configs

I have uploaded a fix for the protection enchantment. Am currently working on the splash potion stuff. Will hopefully see that update soon.

It works perfectly fine idk wtf these guys can't seem to figure out lol... One question is that when I use Protection I on any armour it shows up as protection echantment.level.0 How can I fix this?

In the next few days I am going to do an update that will allow you to just place items in and will lock the chest and not be config based. This will allow it to be easier for users that do not know how to use the config. But this will then not allow the full customization of the item. Hoped ETA is on: May 24.

Pasted that in and removed the enchantments and did [] after like all the other ones. But when i saved and reloaded the chest turned back into a normal chest. didn't work.

Gues i'm just going to have to remove this buggy plugin from my server xD

Too bad it didn't work, it's exactly what I need to display my donator kits.

Doesn't work at all man lol.

I set the chest, it pops up as 1.yml, i edit it, but when i save it then restart my server, when i open the chest it turns back into a normal chest...

And btw, i coppied exactly what you sent and put it right in the config. So it should work.

You do /dc create <some number> Then punch the chest you want Then open it and punch it and open it until it makes a file called whatever number you picked .yml And do the stuff like I showed in there.

How exactly do I use this plugin? I filled a chest with the items i wanted, then did /dc create 1, then hit the chest, but the chest was blank. Am i supposed to do something in the config? thx.
