Digital Note Blocks
This mod allows the tone and instrument used by a note block to be controlled by a bundled/jacketed cable from the RedPower mod. Note that the RedPower mod is thus required for this to be of any use.
The cable needs to be two blocks below the note block, i.e. running below the block which normally controls the instrument of the block.
The first five wire colors (white, orange, magenta, light blue, yellow) control the tone of the note block. If all are off, the tone set on the note block is used, otherwise they form a 5 digit binary number which will override the tone used by the block.
The next three colors (lime, pink, gray) control the instrument. If all are off, the instrument is determined normally by the block between the cable and block, otherwise they form a 3 digit binary number which overrides the instrument used by the block.
