Ever wanted a plugin that can make blocks dangerous to players?
This is the right plugin! DieOnBlock (DOB for short) does just that.
You can use it for various things. Examples include:
- If I touch green, I die video
- Parkour challenges
- Pranks
OK, but how does it look like?
Nice, but how does it work?
Whenever a player steps onto a block that has been set to be dangerous, it will kill the player instantly.
You can set a few things - whether it affects OPs, whether it affects players in creative and what blocks should be dangerous.
Keep in mind that some blocks might need different names in the config. For example, BRICKS is known to be renamed to BRICK.

Posted Jan 22, 2023Hi, nice plugin! I did find a small bug relating to halfblocks; standing on top of a halfblock (a stonecutter, in my case) does not kill you, but it does when you jump on a halfblock, as if the plugin assumes the halfblock is a full block.
A config toggle to disable it for creative mode would also be nice :).

Hi, I kinda forgot about this plugin. I know about the halfblocks bug and have been attempting to fix it. I don't know if I fixed it or not as I haven't worked on it for a long time. I'll probably release a new version in a few days, if I'll get around to it.

Great! Also, you can now use /dob commands to add/remove blocks, write /dob for the usage
