DefaultCommands
DefaultCommands is a huge plugin. It aims to reduce the amount of plugins a server needs and bring as much functionality as possible without increasing cpu or ram usage too much.
- Changelog <- Development build is here!
- Command usage
- Commands
- Config
- Permissions
DO NOT LOG OUT WITH ENCHANTED ITEMS, POTIONS OR BOOKS IN YOUR INVENTORY!
This is fixed in the dev build!
All commands have customizable aliases, which means you dont have to type "dc" in front of every command! Eg. /dcteleport has /teleport and /tp by default. This is to minimize command conflicts with other plugins.
- Handle multiple worlds with ease by in-game commands or by editing the config!
- ID specific world-related data (level, inventory etc.)!
- Admin tools (/dcban, /dchide etc.)
- Teleportation (/dcjump, /dcteleport etc.)
- World editing (/dcregenerate, /dccuboid etc.)
- Player-related commands (/dclightning, /dcnodamage etc.)
- Freedom - Change things for offline players as well as online players!
- General commands (/dconline, /dcpvp etc.)
- Chat colors!
- World-protection like explosives and mob specific configuration.
- Customizable physics (fire_spread, water_flow etc.)
- And much more!
More features is being added all the time, if you want one - tell me!

Posted May 21, 2012I'm confused... I'm using the dev version and there are no errors but the /setborder command doesn't work and neither does /help.
I'm not quite sure if pex is working either.
OK so this program makes all mobs friendly even without it set to true. AND this plugin is missing half the commands I used before. so im going to get a replacement and wait for an update.

When using dev builds, always clear the old files (I might change stuff). The usage is the same as before though.

actually, when i went from a previous dev version to the latest i had to delete commands.yml to let the new version create it again .. fluke maybe? but before doing that i had to use /dc infront as well.

You should really read the description... "Every command name is configurable, even commands in other plugins. This means that every command doesnt have to start with 'dc'! See Commands.yml. The plugin comes with a set of command aliases, so you dont have do do anything."

Posted May 12, 2012Can't wait for this to return, and the fact that you're rewriting it is awesome. Personally I'm hoping for commands instead of having to modify most config files manually (because in all honesty, there are SO many lines).
Some examples:
World Settings: /wset animals false
Chat layout: /chatset {world}{prefix}{name}: {message}
Item blacklist: /iblackl add 383 or /iblackl list or /iblackl remove 383
Also, I hope the next feature you work on is chat formatting, the default in Minecraft has always bugged me, and my favourite feature of DefaultCommands was the ability to completely change the way it displayed chat.

It's actually stable now, so you can use the dev build for now!
@boblefisk
Maybe xD Well, as I said, the dev build is stable and safe to use.
I just have to add some more features from the old DC before I make a full release! :D I'll see if I can write some information or something before I go to bed.

Posted May 12, 2012maybe he is bullshitting us!:P
he pops by just before our hopes fade away, to say something motivating to regain our belief.
na, just kidding! or am i?:D
anyway, it would be nice if you kept track of your progress on the plugin, by using some sort of TODO list.
keep it up, looking forward to the release!

Posted Apr 27, 2012For anyone having a problem with sheep not regrowing wool go to your world's config.yml and set block_enderman_pickup to false. This has been driving my users crazy since I turned it on after removing another plugin.

As WorldGuard doesn't register its commands, DC thinks that they are unknown. :)

I need more info than that, as always. :)
4.0.0 will use the same command alias system, but it'll be a little easier to "remove" a default alias from a dc command.
