Current version
The current version is Release 4 (R4) and Build 22 (B22). It is working for 1.7.2+ (superior) bukkit servers.
Configuration translator
To translate the words between old and new configuration types, you shall use this program ( Please take care when using this program. It is still in beta version. Please make always a backup earlier. Virus scan here. )

Permissions
- For command use (not working) = dic.command.admin
How to install?
- Copy the .jar to your /plugin folder
- -> Please check if the plugin name contains CfgC. If it contains, please delete DeathInChat folder or make a backup and delete it.
- Start the server.
- When you start the server, you should receive something like this: <<[ DeathInChat ]>> - Hello! I'm starting up. Please wait... followed by the message saying that the plugin was correctly loaded.

Update Checking
This plugin utilises Gravity's update checker to notify when a new version of the plugin is out, it will not automatically download the new version. It also notifies the admins that a new plugin version is available. This can be enabled or disabled in the config.yml. To disable update-checking, set EnableAutoUpdater to false.
Metrics Collection
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. Also, none of these data are controlled by me nor choosen by me what to send.

Currently your plugin shows the player's normal (standard) name in death-messages.
But there are plugins that can change the name of a player (i.e. Essentials has a /nick command), and those (nick)names aren't shown by your plugin.
It would be fun if we could see those nicknames in death-message, instead of the (boring) standard names ;-)

Hello and sorry for the long delay. So, I searched everywhere and I noticed that the item's name is Null, wich mean it's nothing or it's not defined. It is corrected now. However, it will not show the item's name, which I can't find the code to do it without beeing Null. It will return the type of the item. If it is a Diamond sword, it will say diamond sword, if it is a Stone Axe, it will say stone axe, and so on.

Hello there! No, this plugin isn't ready for 1.7(.2 or .4) yet. I've been busy those days so it's hard to update the plugins in time. Anyways, I've tested it and it seems that the configuration color codes are wrong. &6 had to be yellow, instead of orange. I'll update the plugin asap. When I upload the new plugin version, make sure that you've done /dic reload when you start your server with the new version. It may help. I'll try to update the plugin now but I cannot guarantee that it will be released today. Thank you, PeterAS17

Posted Dec 28, 2013Hey the plugin doesn't seem to read the configuration file right, I'm trying to fix the color and typos in the config and i do a full server restart and reload the plugin, and it doesn't change anything, it keeps saying the players name in red even though i changed ALL the red to yellow and the word swin to swim and they still come out wrong, anything wrong I'm doing? Is this plugin for 1.7 yet?
