CustomOreGen

Table of Contents

With Custom Ore Generator you can configure the spawn rate of any block for each Player/Rank. This plugin only works with A Skyblock or AcidIsland Plugin by tastybento.

Note: This Plugin works with the recent Spigot-Version(1.8.7) and with older versions like 1.7.10.

(This plugin requires the A Sky Block Plugin or AcidIsland)!

Download and put the plugin in your plugin folder.
Reload / Restart your server.
Edit the config.yml (see Configuration)

Here is a example configuration:

generators:
  generator1:
    blocks:
    -  COBBLESTONE:70.0
    -  IRON_ORE:30.0
    permission: ''oregen.default"
  generator2:
    blocks:
    -  COBBLESTONE:50.0
    -  IRON_ORE:50.0
    permission: ''oregen.vip"

You can create generators as much as you want. Important: All generators should be named "generator1", "generator2", etc. You can define the spawnrates of any block in the blocks-section. The spawnrates are in percent, for example 57.3 are 57,3%. All values together should be 100%. If all values together are higher or lower as 100, the plugin would'nt work correctly. The permissions are custom, so you can make a generator for VIPS, and give them the permission "oregen.vip". Are you finish with configuring? Just type /customoregen to reload the plugin!

Note: If the Island's owner is offline, the cobblestone generator would be choose the first Generator-Config.

You can customize all permissions in the config.yml!

I could say hello as I can make owers are activated at each level of your island for example level 10 unlock coal

This is a good ore gene plugin the thing i would like to see added is enable/disable worlds as it kills acidisland u can just pour lava all over the sea to create land and ore, and it can be used on survival worlds

Not able to customise anything thus far... First method i tried was to add extra ores into the default generator. I've done this, reloaded (and later rebooted), yet still was getting the original setup even though it was no longer even in the config file. Second method i tried was to create a new generator, following the guidelines. Added all the ores desired, added perm, gave perm, ran reload command. Now the generator only spawns cobble (even with cobble set to 0%). In both cases the percentages added to 100%. I also use the desired skyblock plugin. Am i doing anything wrong or misunderstanding something? Or is the plugin needing an update? Cheers.

Really? I only asked because i was wondering about that, the plugin works also with 1.7.10. That is why i did'nt release a 1.7.10 version.

id be more than happy to try this on my server the one i got now has an issue where if water touches water in a certain wait it creates cobble or ore and the config setup to add up to 100% just seems alot less confusing than saying like how many pulls it takes to get this ore.... like we're supposed to know what that means. keep going at it and ill report bugs to you when i find them.
