CustomCrafting
What does it do?
CustomCrafting allows you to create your own crafting and furnace recipes.
Downloading, installing and configuring
Installation instructions: extract into Bukkit plugins directory.
Configuration instructions: see CustomCrafting/recipelist.yml for examples.

The only other plugin I could suggest is Cookbook ( http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/cookbook/ ). It's often updated and the author seems to work on some new features which CustomCrafting does not offer.
Only DamageValue: -1 does not work AT THE MOMENT (v. 0.5), but I think the author will work on this soon. Also furnace-recipes work there, so just try/check that one out.MY FAULT!!! I wanted didn't realise you have to use "ResultData" instead of "ResultDamage" for furances in the recipes. I'm sorry for doing a false-positive XD-

Actually disregard my post entirely. I just found out that it doesn't work with custom Spout items. Darn. Thanks anyway though.

I would not put _ and spaces in the names firstly, secondly I'm always using this syntax: Result: x [ResultDamage: x] Quantity: x Shape: - [...] - [...] - [...] [DataValues: abc] [Type: Shaped/ Shapeless]
That's some tip I can give you for now. The recipes for furnaces don't work since 1.8 anymore for me. I've made one in 1.7 Redstone - -> Glowstone (in Furnace) but it's not working anymore, though I didn't change a thing.

EDIT: I fixed one of the errors (I forgot to add comas between the IDs), but the recipes still don't work.
EDIT2: Actually... ignore my whole post. I just got it to work. I needed to add /0 to all of the IDs without data values.

Of course. The damagevalue there is 1 (mossy) and 2 (cracked). I will also make one :) But I think furnace-repices cannot handle ResultDamage, can they (@author + rest)?

Yes, but shift-clicking is a little buggy, because it doesn't show the update. But it works, only the visual effects do not take effect properly.
