Custom Enchantments
Description
This plugin adds a whole bunch of awesome new Items and enchantments that are independent of the Minecraft Enchantment system.
This is my first plugin and at the same time my first Java Project.

Videos of the Plugin
Please note that the following Videos were made using older versions of the plugin:
Commands
- /ce - The main command node for Custom Enchantments
Please note that for any command after the main node, you do not have to enter it's full name, the first letter is enough (Example: /ce list = /ce l).
Words in angle Brackets ( < > ) mean that the argument is required, while words written in square Brackets ( [ ] ) are optional.
- /ce runecrafting - Opens the runecrafting inventory.
- /ce menu - Opens an inventory menu for navigating and obtaining Custom Enchantments and Items.
- /ce reload - Reloads the CE config.
- /ce remove [Enchantment] - Removes an enchantment (or all of them) from an item.
- /ce list <Enchantment/Item> - Lists all Custom Enchantments or Items.
- /ce enchant [Required material] <Enchantment> [level] - Adds the specified Enchantment to the item in your hand. If a required material is given, the command will only work if the player holds that item. If an item already has the enchantment, the level will be increased.
- /ce item <Item> - Transforms the item in the player's hand into the specified Custom Item.
- /ce change <Name/Lore> <Color/Set/Add/Reset> [New Value] - Allows you to change the name/lore of the item in your hand
- /ce give <Player> <Material> <Item/Custom or Vanilla Enchantment:Level> [Custom or Vanilla Enchantment:Level] ... - Gives the target player an item with the set material containing the given Enchantments. Please note that the Material has to be either the Minecraft material ID or the Bukkit material ID. The same goes for the Vanilla enchantment names. You can add infinite vanilla and custom enchantments to the item using this command.

Enchantment Books
Version 2.4 added a feature called Runecrafting that allows enchantments to be put on books.
They can be created using /ce ench or /ce menu, given through /ce give and obtained by enchanting a book using the enchanting table.
If disenchanting is enabled, enchanted items can also be turned into enchantment books.
Using an enchantment book or an enchanted item on an Anvil will open the Runecrafting inventory, which can also be opened by using /ce menu or /ce runecrafting. The lower slot requires the enchanted item while the top slot requires the item to enchant.
Sign shops
If you are using version 2.2 or higher of the plugin, you can sell Enchantments by setting up a sign in the following format:
- "[CustomEnchant]" (Without the "s) as the first line.
- The Enchantment you want to sell as the second line.
- The cost of the enchantment as the fourth line. This requires Vault and a compatible economy plugin
Players that do not have the enchantment will have the enchantment applied to their current item, if they already have the enchantment they are trying to buy, the level of the enchantment will increase by 1, up to the specified maximum level of the Enchantment (Can be set in the config).
CE-Menu
If you have Vault installed, you can set a price for the Items/Enchantments through the config. The items and enchantments can then be bought in /ce menu.
CE's in Kits
To add Custom Enchantments and Items into kits, follow this guide:
- Check out if your kit plugin supports colored names and/or lores.
- Find example kits that add colored names and/or lores in your kit plugin
- For items, set "name: <Item>", for Enchantments, set "lore: <Enchantment>". You may have to find out how to add multiple lines of lore via your kit plugin
Notes:
The <Item> is structured like this: <Colorcode of the Item><The full Itemname>, the <Enchantment> is defined as: <Colorcode of the Enchantments><EnchantmentName> <Level in roman numerals>
The Colorcodes can be found on this site.
Examples:
Lifesteal would be "lore: &4&oLifesteal" (If you didn't change the standard color of the enchantments) &4 stands for the Color Dark Red, &o stands for the name being italic
In essentials, Lifesteal II and Poison III would be "lore: &4&oLifesteal II|&4&oPoison III" (Note: the '|' in the middle of the two enchantments seperates multiple lines in the lore of the kits made by essentials)
Flamethrower would then be "name: &4Flamethrower"

I know it makes a metalic sound already but I would like the noise to be the Anvil_Placement noise. It's at 9 seconds in this video. It's the last anvil sound not the middle one.

Block enchant works on swords I believe. And it does in fact make a metallic anvil block sound already. :)

Posted Feb 24, 2016Is there anyway you can change the Shield enchant so that the hearts are above the main hearts as soon as the armor is equipped? This way when I equip a shield chestplate for example, I will now have my original 10 hearts plus say an additional 5 above my vanilla hearts. That way when I start to take damage it first takes from my shield than to get those hearts back I would have to re-equip my chestplate with a certain cool down of say 30 seconds?
How does Block enchant work? I seem to put it on armor since it is listed as global but it doesn't seem to do anything. Also, can you make it so that when it blocks it makes the noise of an anvil being placed? That would be so bad ass.
If you can do these two things, I will donate $30 to you through paypal or another method.
Also, If you only want to do this for me I will pay. Either way works, If the community doesn't mind or if they want I will still pay for everybody to have this two fixes.
Thanks, Pablo Sanchez

Will do :)
@Jay_Slayzz
You have to open the runecrafting inventory, which you can do using /ce menu or when rightclicking an anvil with a custom enchanted item.
@TheCrystalStar
Can you PM me a list of plugins and the server software (including version) you are using? When putting a custom enchanted item into the normal anvil, the plugin should prevent you from doing so and give you a message that you cannot put that item into the anvil o.O
@phoenixlzx
I have no idea why the enchantments would not be found when they have already been detected before and written into metadata (by their original name). I could send you a debug version to figure out what is written to metadata and what is read from it later on, that would give me a better understanding of what's happening :)
Otherwise I could reimplement bow enchantment handling by attaching a list of detected enchantments to an arrows UUID.
@kertdood
Holding out on language files until I can get some more structure into the config part of the plugin, sorry for the inconvenience there :(

Posted Feb 22, 2016Thanks Taiterio for replying to my pm's Guys. If your still having trouble with letting people use runecrafting by either the menu (w/o letting them access anything but runecrafting) or by right clicking an anvil with the enchant book you need to give the player or group these permissions: ce.cmd.menu & ce.runecrafting. (if there not opped, or have to access to all the commands, (normal members or whatever it is in your case))
Also, when you try to rename something that has custom enchants on it in the anvil you get kicked from the server (internal error). My users get tp'd back to the hub when they try. it really happens when u put the item into the anvil slot

The error comes out when arrow hit target, target can be both player and mob. Did not tested with blocks...
Maybe plugin conflict? any other way to implement the feature?

Posted Feb 22, 2016You should add a lang file to change the messages and a config for the signs, i would like to change the [CustomEnchant] to something else.
But overall, this plugin is great! Thank you!

What do you mean? They work just like the regular kits and can be seen before hitting the iron block. I'm talking about this: https://github.com/garbagemule/MobArena/wiki/Class-Chests
This works exactly like the regular mob arena kits but lets you add items to a hidden chest.
@Taiterio I'll do this. :) Thanks!

Posted Feb 21, 2016Been sick the past week, next bugfix update should be coming out soonish with some config updates :)
@EnderSandman
Adding that into the next update, wanted to hold out on that until I got the config reworked a bit, but it's not too much of a hassle to put in now :)
@DrakonisVaughan
Can you pm me the error?
@Kwright02
Custom enchanted Books are now fully supported as of v2.4 :)
@WickedFactions
Please elaborate on the "Anvil dupe bug glitch", never had any reports of anything like that. If possiblee, send the crash dump to me via PM and any details you can give me on that. The problem I see with the glitch is that CE has close to none code for Anvils, it's just trying to detect custom enchanted items to open Runecrafting and stops you from using custom enchanted items in the anvil itself. Minecraft should be more than capable of handling that o.O
The config was originally planned to be in an update that completely reworks the mess of the one big config file that is currently used. I planned on splitting each enchantment up into its own file to allow much more config options per enchantment (prices per level, etc.), maybe even with the ingame editing feature that was originally meant to be in v2.0. In the end, this is planned and will be the next large update :)
Could you elaborate on "Some enchantments do not work", specifically on which ones are not working?
@MatissPL
ce.cmd.remove
@TheStormCreeper4190
Forgot to update that site, fixed it :)
Currently working on a permissions update that works as follows:
ce.ench.[enchantment].[action]
This would allow for some more customization on that part :)
@slayermarth101
Can you both pm me a list of plugins that you are using? Some damage plugins might be related to the onehitting charge/aerial/piercing. Cannot reproduce the issue, to I will look into the problem again.
I have experienced the bug myself before, it is a weird Bukkit bug that causes the player to be considered dead by the server, but he can still interact freely. I'll try to fix this in the next bugfix update.
@TheStormCreeper4190
ce.ench.runecrafting
@ghost_rider123
Can you pm me the error?
@Xertheas
I'll try to add something for that :)
@phoenixlzx
Disarming is only designed to take weapons :)
The bow enchantments not working seems extremely weird to me o.O
Basically what I do is: I store metadata on the arrow containing all CEs using their original name. When a player is hit, I just read from that metadata and should always find those enchantments. Can you give me a rough estimate of when this error started occuring in?
@EvilDevil19000
Sent you a pm about that
@WickedFactions
Looking into the error with your VIP, it seems like you are using an outdated version that does not yet contain the Barrier block, which I use to show that a player tried to combine invalid enchantments.
Checking out that error
Sent you a pm about the economy request.
EnchantmentMaxLevel limits the level of custom enchantments per enchantment.
@ghost_rider123
Any errors?
@ksiegel22
Nope, CEs are lore based, while vanilla enchantments claim the right to be first in line.
@SneakyScoutYt
ce.runecrafting
@skyzophrenic
Thanks :D
@ZetTtyu
Can you send me the full error via PM?

Why not just use the chest method of adding kits in mob arena? I use that and it works just fine. You can place a chest below the sign with items that you place inside. and it will give the players the items.

Im talking about mob arena kits not regular kits. Those wont work with mob arena since thats not how it works.
