cSuffix

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

cSuffix: is a chat format plugin, where you can edit the chat color to players by giving them a permisison. this plugin contains all of the colors in minecraft, so you can choose what ever color you want.

suffix.red
suffix.dark_red
suffix.aqua
suffix.dark_green
suffix.gray
suffix.black
suffix.dark_blue
suffix.gold
suffix.white
suffix.underline
suffix.bold
suffix.italic
suffix.magic
suffix.strikethrough
suffix.rainbow

Commands:

/colors

DO NOT add the permissions: '*' to any groups or players, the plugin wont work then.

@tomaste

i am currently testing the plugin for bugs on my new dev server. i can see that it is cSuffix that is causing the chat to reset. i am also currently trying to fix it. i am testing everything.

i just have a few questions.

(1) what permission plugin do you use? (2) do you use essentials? (3) where this bug showing in the previous update?

please answer the question. it makes it easier to fix the bug.

Alas, I'm still having the issue below. When any color permission group is applied, no users can chat. Would you like me to change anything to assist testing that issue? Merry Christmas by the way! ;)

Sorry I wasnt very clear.

Plain chat would produce just someone's name, with no text in the message. If one of the users used /me <message> they could communicate.

Alas, there were no errors in the log, or at the console.

hmm, does not look like that is cSuffix.

if it is... i dont think that /me is supported. and can you paste the console log? so i can see if there is any bugs.

I have an odd problem.

As soon as I assign one of the permissions like suffix.aqua to a group, all chat is removed, and it just shows the player name with nothing after it.
