Summary
I started this project a long time ago but deleted it because I couldn't figure it all out. I still needed a good flying plugin for my server so now, ultimately, here it is, the perfect solution!
What does it do
- You can let your Moderators fly in Survival and Adventure (with permissions!)
- You can change your fly speed, also in Creative!
- Remembers your settings when you log out!
Commands & Permissions
- /fly - Change fly mode (on or off toggle)
- /fly <speed> - Change fly speed :D
- creativefly.fly.survival - Permission node to fly in Survival mode
- creativefly.fly.adventure - Permission node to fly in Adventure mode
- creativefly.fly.speed - Permission node to change fly speed
OPs have all permissions by default, so you don't need permissions.

Posted Nov 14, 2014olá , pra ficar perfeito , deveria acrescentar as velocidades abaixo de 1, exemplo 0,5 e colocar pra desativar o fly ao teletransporta , isso ajudaria em relação ao PVP.

I have set creativefly.fly.speed to false, but people can still change the speed. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Yes, your are right!
The players in my creative world are in creative mode but they cant fly. I am also using MultiWorld plugin(s).

I tested it with MultiVerse and.... it works to some extent:
It doesn't remember the last flight-state you're in (like NodeFly does) when relogging whilst being in mid-air, but luckely u're not getting any fall-damage with your plugin.
Though i've noticed a problem where players that are in creative-mode can't fly unless they explicitely do /gm 1 or /gamemode 1 again, despite already being in creative-(game)mode.
Perhaps this is related to MultiVerse but i can't tell for sure.

Use any permission plugin and give them the respective permissions. Giving the creativefly.fly.survival permission to the default group will usually work. Try reading about how permmissions work ;)

Posted Aug 1, 2013i'm trying to set up normal users to fly, how do i set permissions ? do i need a PermissionsEX style manager ?
so far i can only get ops to fly :p

I think so, are you using a separate plugin to disallow flying in Creative?
I have seen a server where this plugin wouldn't work with Multiverse enabling/disabling fly permissions in a Creative world.

Posted Jul 18, 2013Does a creative world affect the mechanics of your plugin? (i.e. can players that are allowed to visit the creative world but AREN'T allowed to fly in creative-mode still benefit to fly in survival-mode?)
