CrazyLogin
Version 7.24
Its recommended to run your server in online mode!
Minecraft is a excellent game. If you want to play it, you should buy it, like every other game you play.
Description
Adds per player passwords to your server. This will increase your server's protection against griefers and account thiefs.
Keep these two things in mind:
- The protection is only as good as your passwords.
- The server is still less secure then a server in online mode.
- My plugin is not limited to offline mode servers,
therefore you can increase security for both server types (offline and online mode servers).
- My plugin is not limited to offline mode servers,

Issues ?
CommandHelper
Have a look at this CommandHelper Extension
Factions
Factions uses a very special way to execute commands, which bypasses default command protection.
Use this plugin to fix that until Faction fixed that:
CrazyLogin_FactionProtection
Convert database
You can convert your database with /crazylogin mode database <Type>".
Especially on huge flat databases this may take very long.
You can use this tool to convert your flat database to a mysql import script.
CrazyLogin_Flat_2_MySQL
(Notice: This file has NOT been reviewed by any Bukkit staff!)
Just copy this jar to your accounts.db then execute this jar.
This will create an accounts.db.sql file.

Do you have any further information?
Which encryption algorithm are you using?
Which database type?
Are you using the autoDelete option?
Are there any information why login failed?
Has the player changed his username char case?
Did he login successfully in the meantime?

Is there any way I can put a moveRange value to let them rotate but no move? 0.1 ?
I guess this is a good value.
moveRange is "Double" value you can choose very small values like 0.001 as well.
Have a try with value fits bests.

Can registration be toggled using a command?
Yes, you can use this command:
/crazylogin mode disableRegistrations [True/False]

Ahh, i still haven't been able to test those dev builds for you, but i do have a question in regards to disableing- and/or enableing registrations.
Can registration be toggled using a command? Currently i edit the config and reload the plugin for this (which causes everyone to relogin), which isn't that great when having many people on the server.
Thanks ;)

This is a CrazyCore issue caused by special chars in blocked command message.
I changed the used method to set this message, and i hope this fixes that.
(fixed in CrazyCore dev build)
CrazyLogin v6.6 should be compatible with the latest CrazyCore dev build.
this error does not affect plugin security.

Nice. I'll test those builds whenever i find the time to do this (too many players on the server atm) :)
With v6.6 i noticed a severe error (Could not pass event PlayerCommandPreprocessEvent) :

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16999313/Bukkit/CrazyLogin.jar
Please help me testing whether my changes to the encryption system crush anything.
Notice: MD2, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512 from previous version are now called SeededMD2, Seeded.... (they are renamed automatically)
a seedless version of them are available too (MD2, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512)
This should fix problems with password which are used in web communities too.
If this works i will add a new feature allowing to change algorithms without losing all data.

Imo, your auth/login-plugin rules (over) all other auth/login-plugins. Well done! ;)

sorry for this bug
fixed (there has been a Not to much)
btw: if you were able to join with blockDifferentName cases enabled, you will not able to join when its still enabled, (the data are created with an very old version of my plugin and they are stored in lowercase or are created by console using a lowercase name)
!false=true=>able to join
(this is why it worked for me when i tested that)

they are teleported to any place in the map and not the position where they were before.
do you have coords?
or does this change randomly too?
Are you using the latest version of this plugin?
I already thought about this problem, but i don't know exactly why this occurs.
It occurs only on very few servers and in random cases. I guess i will have to take a look in bukkit source code to check my assumtion.

Posted Sep 4, 2012Hi! I've installed this plugin after updating my server to 1.3, but it seems to have a problem. After players log in, they are teleported to any place in the map and not the position where they were before. It happens randomly and not to every player. I've tried that removing CrazyLogin and it doesn't happen without the plugin. Any idea of what could be causing this? D:
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

You are right.
I downloaded the new builds (deleted the old config just in case), and now the wipe-action isn't broadcasted to the chat anymore :-)
Have two cookies for fixing those bugs! :D

check crazycore/config.yml
and replace "playerWipeCommands: xxx"
with
"playerWipeCommands: []"
I guess there is the "- say $0$ has been wiped!" command twice.
EDIT: fixed a bug duplicating playerWipeCommands when "/crazycore reload" is executed (v8.7.2)
