CrazyLogin
Version 7.24
Its recommended to run your server in online mode!
Minecraft is a excellent game. If you want to play it, you should buy it, like every other game you play.
Description
Adds per player passwords to your server. This will increase your server's protection against griefers and account thiefs.
Keep these two things in mind:
- The protection is only as good as your passwords.
- The server is still less secure then a server in online mode.
- My plugin is not limited to offline mode servers,
therefore you can increase security for both server types (offline and online mode servers).

Issues ?
CommandHelper
Have a look at this CommandHelper Extension
Factions
Factions uses a very special way to execute commands, which bypasses default command protection.
Use this plugin to fix that until Faction fixed that:
CrazyLogin_FactionProtection
Convert database
You can convert your database with /crazylogin mode database <Type>".
Especially on huge flat databases this may take very long.
You can use this tool to convert your flat database to a mysql import script.
CrazyLogin_Flat_2_MySQL
(Notice: This file has NOT been reviewed by any Bukkit staff!)
Just copy this jar to your accounts.db then execute this jar.
This will create an accounts.db.sql file.

Thanks so much for pointing this out, TheOneMadHawk.
I forgot to add a cancellation check when I moved the chat listener to a separate listener class. This issue should be fixed then :)
EDIT: No, I actually did set the ignoreCancelled value when registering the event listener O.o I could only imagine that the old way of registering an event listener in Bukkit is broken, but that would be extremely weird, too.

Jinkies! I couldn't have done this myself so i REALLY appreciate this.
If you still want a link to BukkitSpeak: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/bukkitspeak/
Now i'm not sure if i should do the talking about this issue, or you.
I believe its my call, because the problem isn't related to CrazyLogin, but if you don't mind bothering
http://dev.bukkit.org/profiles/Firedroide/ or http://dev.bukkit.org/profiles/Death_marine/ then of course i won't stop you :)
Thanks for all the information buddy!
edit: oh, this is what Firedroide said about it, some time ago:

Hi
my plugin uses this peace of code to block chat messages:
I could also set the messages to nothing, but this could cause issues with other plugins.
Can you please give me a link to that plugin/something to contact the author?
If you already talked with him please ask him for the method head used by his plugin.
There are mostly 2 things i can image he could try.
1) Setting priority to Monitor, if he does not alter anything on that event, this is the recommended way of doing it.
2) Use the ignoreCancelled flag for the event and/or if (event.isCancelled()) return;
So the method head would mostly look like this.
i guess i found the issue:
https://github.com/Firedroide/BukkitSpeak/blob/BukkitSpeakMerged/src/main/java/net/but2002/minecraft/BukkitSpeak/Listeners/ChatListener.java#L28

Posted Sep 28, 2013Hello again,
I use a plugin named BukkitSpeak. I use it to let it broadcast the in-game chat to my TeamSpeak server, but there's a problem and i think CrazyLogin may be causing it.
When a player tries to chat while not having logged in yet, the chat-message somehow comes through on TeamSpeak. Guest chat has been blocked, so messages doesn't appear in-game, but DO on TeamSpeak.
I've already played with the priority setting of BukkitSpeak (tried LOWEST, and even MONITOR), but the chat of not logged in players still comes through =/
Because of this i was forced to disable BukkitSpeak's ability to send the game's chat to TeamSpeak, but i miss it already.
Is there anything you can do? Cancel chat messages differently or is there some other way?
The BukkitSpeak dev can't help me any further =/

If you use bungeecord you should use
autologout: 0
But there are still commands from bungeecord that i cannot block.

Thanks a lot. But, I recently had a problem, someone has joined my server with my name and destroyed all. The CrazyLogin logs says that he was wrong with my pass, but he can execute commands and do things. I need your help

CryptoSmashr is right. The easiest way currently is to add the plugin to all servers.
Direct support of Bungeecord is planned, but i don't have time for that right now.

You could run login on the other servers with a shared mysql database

Posted Sep 24, 2013Can you add support to BungeeCord? Because my players can do "/server some" without login in. That's dangerous... Or add the hability to link the plugin throught servers. Thanks =)

This is the wrong way to make crazylogin verify against external databases that can change with updates without notice.
The right way is to make an auth plugin for e.g. Joomla/Wordpress that uses the Crazylogin database to verify.

I currently rework my plugins and an enhenced database support is planned.
Can you describe what features you want and which are required for CMS/Wordpress integration?

+1
Would like to see a wordpress integration. I don't thinks its complicated, the only thing you have to do is add the encryptation, update the tables of the CMS and add an option to configure the salts. Then if the user don't exist kick him (I don't know if you can deny him to join rather than kick) with a message saying "register here".
Then the server admin just need to configure the connection, salt, columns names, encryption and turn off registration.

I like this too. There are not many mods that support this. Probably because its complicated to support everything that is out there.
Perhaps someone can develop a registration/login script that connects to CrazyLogin's database, but i'm afraid there aren't many people who need this =/

Posted Sep 14, 2013Hmm, are there any neew versions out yet?
I have this funny problem, I use forcesavelogin to force players in my spawn area on join, and then after logging in they go back to their last location. The problem is they when spawning after login they get stuck in world holes and die, or if their last location is above a one block floor they fall through the floor. Now I had bananachunk to fix that issues, but the thing is banana chunk causes problems with horses mounting. So I had to remove that and now I'm back to square one. I also use NoLagg and that is supposed to stop world holes but idk.
To work around this issue I have to disable Forcesavelogin and then no world hole problems happen on join or teleporting after that. Why do you think this happens when I use Forcesavelogin? Is there something about the way your plugin handles the spawning before and after login?
