It also notifies the admins that a new plugin version is available. This can be enabled ordisabled in the config.yml. To disable update-checking, set updates.check-for-updates to false. To disable admin notifying, set updates.notify-admin to false.
Metrics Collection
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
A unique identifier The server's version of Java Whether the server is in offline or online mode The plugin's version The server's version The OS version/name and architecture The core count for the CPU The number of players online The Metrics version Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

I was testing with regular Bukkit 1.5.2-R0.1 beta, sorry. And yes, I have the latest build of PEX as well.

Posted May 16, 2013Craftconomy 3.1.4 b1200+ (Dev build) now use my new toolset called "greatmancodeTools" (How original :P) to load from either bukkit / Spout and all the general tools like Configuration/Database management is now handled by it. Those builds should be considerated experimental at this stage since a lot of internal stuff in the plugin got changed ( https://github.com/greatman/craftconomy3/commit/196174ae97a638fe788baa1e1fcb1d7a50c8def0 )
If you use that build, it's better to delete the lang.yml since it now use a new format due to the new system and do a database backup.

Hm.. Well, I've got all the plugins enabled, and it works if I create a bank and restart the server. If I don't restart the server after the bank is made, then I can't access the account and I have to use /bank perm to manually allow myself access. This is also the case with just CraftConomy and PEX enabled.

Shouldn't change anything with SQLite or MySQL. It all goes through SimpleSave anyway.

I have a new scenario to pose for the issue I'm facing. Suppose my server is using SQLite for CraftConomy instead of MySQL. Would this make a difference? Also, here's what I found... If I create a bank and try to access it in any way as a non-OP user, it doesn't work unless I manually add myself to the permission for the bank account. If I make a new bank and then restart the server, then it works fine. This is weird. :/

No OP to me. Only the permissions I wrote (I had denied on /money)

Hmm, nope. Still having the problem on 1.5.2-R0.1 Bukkit. I'm enabling plugins one by on on my test server until this starts happening. I'll inform you which plugin is enabled when it starts doing it so we can figure this out...

Are you OP on the server you're using to test? On my server, it won't let bank owners do anything without manually allowing themselves with /bank perm, unless they are OP or have the * permission.
I suppose it's entirely possible that this might be a Spigot problem. I'll try on a local test server with Bukkit instead of Spigot and report back. :/ Thanks for the response. :)

Posted May 16, 2013Was going to use this plugin until I saw all of the unmodifiable messages with grammatical errors. "Payday! You have received any: $10!"
Like, what? The search continues for a proper plugin.

Great, thanks. With piles of school work, preparing for a server reset, and plugin problems breathing down my neck all at the same time, I'm quite stressed. The quick responses are a great help. Thanks. :D

The whole QuickSetup area is only used during the setup if you don't want to go through the whole command setup system.
Thanks, ill check why it doesn't work with pex.

:L If that is the case, then perhaps you might want to consider removing that config information from the config.yml? It's very misleading. Might also want to mention that the config is stored in the database in documentation, as well.
As for Permissions plugin, I'm using PEX. Like I stated in the other comment, I know this plugin is generally frowned upon. I don't have any other option, though. bPermissions is overly complicated, and does not convert from PEX (throws errors that don't tell me anything useful).

config.yml after the initial setup is only used to retrieve the database information. The rest is stocked in the cc3_config table.
Also, just to know. What permission plugin you are using? Will help me debug the issue.

I seriously don't feel like registering for another bug track website just to post bugs about this plugin, so here are the issues I'm encountering, bundled up into one place:
Permissions set on the default rank on my server, inherited up through the rest of the ranks:
I hope this can be fixed very soon. Otherwise, I'll need to find a new economy plugin. Again.

QuickSetup section? What?? I have no idea what you're talking about... There's a CraftConomy3 folder, and all that's in it is config.yml, database.db and lang.yml. There's nothing else for CraftConomy3 other than the plugin file itself. This is actually starting to annoy me, because now I'm having problems with banks. It seems nobody can view or access their own banks unless they manually give themselves permission to show, deposit, withdraw, and "acl" (whatever that is) on their own account with commands. I can't tell if this is a PEX problem (yes, I use PEX, bPerms is way too complicated, and doesn't convert my PEX file - plus I can't find dev builds of PEX) or a problem with CraftConomy3. I can't even tell what version I'm using because there's no command which shows me the version of CraftConomy loaded on the server. On top of this, the last time I changed the CraftConomy version, I had to completely redo the /ccsetup. This makes it difficult to get a new/different version. So, I'm literally at a loss - I don't know where to point my finger.
