Note: OPs do not need these permissions!
witherbow.use - (V1.2+) you will be unable to fire the bow if you don't have this permission. witherbow.craft - (V1.3+) you will be unable to craft the bow if you don't have this permission.
What is this plugin all about, and why is it special?
I'm glad you asked, it's actually very simple.
This plugin allows a user to create a custom bow named the wither bow.
It can only be obtained by combining an original bow with a nether star. This way it's pretty hard to get, but it's worth it!
This bow can shoot as far as you can see, and explodes upon collision. But don't worry, it's not overpowered!
What happens when I shoot an arrow with this bow?
It's almost the same as an actual wither attack. The arrow explodes in the target's face, and applies the wither effect to them for 5 second.
New in v1.2:
The speed of the witherskull depends on how charged your bow was when shooting. A permission node has been added: witherbow.use if you don't have this permission, or are not OP, then you cannot shoot the bow.
I can't craft the witherbow!
If you are unable to craft it, check if the plugin is enabled. Also, you need the permission witherbow.craft or have to be an OP to craft it.
Bugs & Suggestions
For bugs you can simple file a ticket, it's as easy as that. If it's really urgent though, you're allowed to send me an e-mail with the subject: "Wither Bow" to iamgilles159@hotmail.com

Posted Apr 24, 2014I have marked this project as abandoned, as I will no longer be supporting it due to time constraints. In the future I will probably pick this project back up, but I cannot pin a date on that at all. Thank you all for staying with this project for over a good year. :)

Posted Jul 15, 2013Personally I want it as a additional high level weapon in normal survival. I want to make it craftable and usable by everyone, as it is fair survival. I also want to disable block damage to make it balanced. Could you do this? making it somehow configurable :)

If there's another plugin that's able to give custom prizes with custom names and lores, you're able to set a bow (id 261) with the name Wither_Bow and lore: Absorbed_the_fury_of_a_wither to get the same result :)

Make sure you are not in creative mode, when you're in survival mode, it loses durability and uses up arrows.

Posted Apr 7, 2013Instead of arrows it should shoot wither skulls. Maybe make its ammo a wither arrow that is crafted with 1 wither skull, one stick, an a feather, to make 64 wither arrows. (wither skulls are hard to get.) looks cool though, cant wait to try it.

Posted Apr 7, 2013Great plugin cupcakes, it would be really awesome if you could make it use up arrows and have durability (I don't think this is a bug but it doesn't use up any arrows or loose durability) also a bug i found was even though it says it only applies for 5 seconds, whenever i shoot someone with it they get a 40 second wither effect. That's all, thanks for this plugin cupcakes, its great!

You can region protect from TNT or not give them permission.
