Default weapons
For those who are curious about what CrackShot is capable of achieving, but squealed like a little girl upon viewing the complete list of modules, you're in luck. The plugin comes with 18 default weapons, so you can jump right into the action! ... a very small taste of the action.

Known issues
Minecraft visual bug: Projectiles that are launched at high velocities (>40) may follow a warped flight path. Generally, they will appear to either curve to the left or to the right. Do not be fooled though, as the projectiles will always be spot-on despite what you see!
Minecraft 1.9 bug: Players may hurt themselves if they shoot at an entity that is too close to them. Affects servers between 1.9 and 1.16.
Spigot 1.15 bug: Entities cannot be hit by multiple projectiles at the same time. Affects servers between 1.15 and 1.16.4.

Also, if you want a Gold Desert Eagle, you could just copy Shampaggon's Desert Eagle configuration and then make it a different item and then have a texturepack that makes that item look like a Gold Desert Eagle.

If you change the health of the mobs and the plugin doesn't support this plugin, or doesn't do it in a specific way, then the guns will do no damage as the projectiles are snow balls, and the plugin you used to modify their health (MonsterApocalypse) will treat the snow balls fired by the guns, as normal snow balls.

I really would love to use this plugin, but for some reason I can't do damage to the monsters even though I put my rank as Owner. I did mod the health of the mobs, not sure if that did something =/

Posted Jun 21, 2013Hi, I think it would be cool to add perks matter. With such a perk decreases, not increases recoil weapons in your inventory automatically zmiejszały to him. Or perk for faster reloading. Is perk for more ammunition for one overcharging. Or even run faster, jump higher, and whatever comes to mind. I hope that my idea is approved and used in the next version of the plugin. Sorry for bad English I use google translator.

Add them yourself. The Crackshot configuration guide is a lot easier to understand than most guides, so you should be able to. I would recommend copy-pasting one of the existing weapons, renaming it, then changing its stats.

Posted Jun 20, 2013Hi, whenever I go to a different world then go back with guns, they always seem to have a question mark in their name. Sometimes this causes them to malfunction, and turns the olympia into a flying olympia. I don't know if this is an issue caused by Crackshot or Multiinv.

For your second idea, the only changes needed would be the ability to use weapons as ingredients in the Crafting: module, and the ability to have attachments as separate items (so you can craft them together with weapons). (Which, personally, I think is a fairly good idea :D)

Posted Jun 19, 2013Hey, First up, I love your plugin. It has become one of the most popular gameplays on my server. With that said, I was wondering if you could set it up, so you could do stuff like adding a spare ammo limit. It would be really good if you could make it so that when the command was given "/shot give <player> AK-47" it would give them an unlimited unloaded ammo size, but if you used the command "/shot give <player> ak-47 ammo ak-47 200" it would give them an Ak-47 and 200 unloaded ammo, and if you used "/shot give <player> ammo AK-47 200" that wouldn't give them an AK-47, just 200 more ammo for an AK-47. I would love it if you could add this feature.

I don't think the purchasing system should be added to CrackShot, it seems like something that would be added to another plugin.
The third idea seems a little redundant too, why add all that when you can just copy/paste existing weapons then modify the values a little. On top of all of that, Vault integration would have to be implemented for that single reason, which seems pointless.

Hey shampaggon, I was wondering if you could add a few features, hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle:
It would be awesome if you added your own purchasing system, such as /purchase or something and a chest open screen appears with all the listed weapons that you would have to do with more commands, and a desc would be under the gun with the price, useing items such as gold ingots or diamodns, or vault or essentials money. And when the player clicks on the item, then they loose a certain ammount of money/items and they get the gun.
A second thing I wish to have is if a node would combind attachments. For example, if I put a glass block on an ak-47 if would make the ak-47 have a scope. Etc with the attachments but the node would be layed out like
Attachment_Crafting: Gun_Combination_With: [Another gun Or Block Or Item] Gun_Crafted_Is: [The gun that the gun and the gun listed right above make] Crafting_Recipe: [A = Attachment the thing 2 things above this message G = the gun X = Nothing! Example:
Attachment_Crafting:
Gun_Combination_With: 46
Gun_Crafted_Is: M14 (with grenade launcher)
Crafting_Recipe: X X X X G X X A X
Third and last, if there where perks for donors! say if someone where to donate on a server then they would reload guns faster, shoot bullets farther, bullets light people on fire, More damage, etc like re-write a gun for ranks that pick it up. This would have to not be able to edit ammo because then people could give the gun to the player and ammo, and bleh.

Posted Jun 19, 2013The Dual Wielding field should work like the attachments one, specifying a weapon in the config, so that we can dual-wield different guns.
EX: A item named "Pistol and SMG" could have the proporties of a pistol in the left hand, and a SMG in the right hand.

Simply don't use the Custom_Death_Message module.
Since it is very unlikely that you are using that module without knowing it, you are most likely referring to Minecraft's default death messages. If that's the case, your issue does not concern CrackShot, and you should instead search for a plugin that disables death messages completely.
