How do I use CrackShot weapons with other plugins? (kits, arenas, shops, classes etc.)

Default weapons
For those who are curious about what CrackShot is capable of achieving, but squealed like a little girl upon viewing the complete list of modules, you're in luck. The plugin comes with 18 default weapons, so you can jump right into the action! ... a very small taste of the action.

Known issues
Minecraft visual bug: Projectiles that are launched at high velocities (>40) may follow a warped flight path. Generally, they will appear to either curve to the left or to the right. Do not be fooled though, as the projectiles will always be spot-on despite what you see!
Minecraft 1.9 bug: Players may hurt themselves if they shoot at an entity that is too close to them. Affects servers between 1.9 and 1.16.
Spigot 1.15 bug: Entities cannot be hit by multiple projectiles at the same time. Affects servers between 1.15 and 1.16.4.

just wanted to ask if you could possibly include a method for modifying weapons in the API.
It should basically make one weapon with the parts of multiple others.
For example If I'd like to make a modified "weapon1" with the scope section of "weapon2" and the explosion section of "weapon3", the method could be something like this:
newModifiedWeapon(String weaponToModify, HashMap<String, String>)
So the code for making one would look like this:
HashMap<String, String> modifiedParts = new HashMap<String, String>();
modifiedParts.put("weapon2", "scope"); //Add scope of weapon2
modifiedParts.put("weapon3", "explosion"); //Add explosion of weapon3
CSUtility.newModifiedWeapon("weapon1", modifiedParts);

Posted Oct 30, 2014I was messing around today with Crackshot, and for some reason the damage of my weapons was amped up considerably past what I specified in the config file. Could this be tied to the type of tool I'm using as a gun?

hi joni, for premade textures, there are loads on the internet for multiple genres (modern, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic guns and more) a good way to find them is look up "minecraft (genera u want) gun texture pack" in google images then when you find a gun texture image you like, then go to the website the pic belongs to and find where to download the package (easy and quick way to find textures, guns textures, and texture packs)

Posted Oct 24, 2014I wasent able to switch item id to the item. When i typed ./shot list i only got grenades.
But i solved this with finding a texturepack. My last problem is that when im trying to make virtual mags, i does not work :(

Im making a server and i want the weapons to have custom texture, like the ak have ak texture. But there is one problem, how do i switch so not all the guns have iron horseamour as item.? I want forexsample the ak to be a hoe. And can someone give me step for step torturial how i do it?

Posted Oct 18, 2014is it possible to use mcpatcher's custom item textures to make guns, so that we don't have to retexture a tool? for example i play on a zombie server that isn't just a gun game, it is also using normal MC ideas like mining, but it looks wird mining with an M4 for example. so is it possible to use the custom item textures to "hide" gun textures? if so, how?

Hi, yes it is possible, look at the Reload module, set your weapon's "clip"/magazine to 30. and adjust the "Take_ammo_as_magazine"
then 1 iron ingot will fill you're 30 clip gun.
